Actually, They are posted in this thread. He was saying to look at gatekeepers thread because someone up there thought we hadn't played it.

Ok to clear up any confusions I will write why Gatekeeper, is one of the greatest maps I have ever played on and is 100% feature worthy. The map was created by SoulCrusher NP who designed this map in hopes of making it through atlas and into MM. The map is constructed on the main level of sandbox and is designed for mainly two team game play.CTF on this map is right up there with Utah Mambo and team Koth on this map has few that compare. I have yet to play assault with their new bomb plant locations so I can't comment on that yet. SoulCrusher has rigorously edited, improved and most importantly tested this map over and over. Sizes I prefer are at least 4v4 and 5v5 but I haven't played any larger games than that. The map makes great use of weapon placement and the maps architecture is not only esthetically pleasing to the eye but game play appears to flow around his well built structures. I truly believe that this is an exemplary map that any forger would be hard pressed to find even minor flaws in. Also as some may already know Gatekeepers post is a work of art in itself and the effort put forth into his map post reflects the amount of time and effort spent on his map. I am tempted to link some game play videos here but I'm not sure if that is allowed in this thread so I'll let you go to Gatekeeper and watch them there. Anyone considering putting a map up for feature should play a few rounds on this map first, for you may feel a slight change in opinion.

Skulls
This map plays amazingly and has awesome aesthetics. The flag is creatively placed and the skulls are epic.

Venom
The style of this map is also incredible. You can go up the snakes with a sniper and there is enough cover. Great gameplay here: with large or small parties.

My best maps maps:
TC Conference B (slayer)
Skyscraper MT--A Monster Trucks map, remake of the Mario Kart 64 battle map

This map is simply insane, the gameplay on it is just outstanding and if you like 1v1 or2v2 then this is the map for you! Forged to perfection and is interlocked super neat!

Ameliorate by ChAoTiC. I know it was posted only an hour ago but I tested this a lot before it was posted so I do know how gameplay goes.

Responses like this are what will get maps noticed quicker. If you haven't played a competitive map yet, don't recommend it based strictly on visuals.

^That being said, I want to recommend Cynosure as a feature. For some reason the MLG section lets the good maps fall to the secondary pages, while the crap that can hardly be lumped in to MLG play spams it way up to the top. Cynosure is one of the best Sandbox maps to date, utilizing actual map geometry as cover instead of randomly placed crap. It's an amazing Oddball map, and Pulsekiller is the first one that I know of that's made an Oddball variant that allows you to "play ball" in the skybox. KOTH and Slayer play equally as well, there's really not a bad thing I can say about this. Well designed, well-built; it baffles me why this map doesn't get the attention here that it deserves.

This map would never get featured IMO. I played a few games on it, and no offense to the creator, but the gameplay was definately below average. Not once, was the section in the back, away from the main builind/castle used. Also, it is almost impossible to get to the very top of the castle. There is also a little too much jumping required in some cases.

I completely agree with you Dow. For once let's all begin nominating maps for gameplay, not looks. This whole looks over gameplay thing is really starting to piss me off. Just because you think a map looks good, doesn't mean it should be featured. Also, about nominating Ameliorate, I would nominate it. But I will only think of it as feature worthy when more cover is placed. I understand so many people overuse the term "Needz Moar Cover!" But Ameliorate really needs it. It is sooooooo open.
