Default Play Ball on Foundry?

Ok so I've run into the problem of making an Oddball map on Foundry. I think that it can be done and will be done. The problem I'm running into is the strategic, often suicidal, "playing ball".

For those of you who don't know, that means tossing the ball of the map to cause it to reset into its original starting position. The idea is that this will give your team an opportunity to respawn and to keep the enemy from grabbing time.

I'm positive I'm not the first one to try this, and I'm wondering if anyone has had much success.

My first thought like anyone else was to turret-glitch through the window, place a receiver node on a mancannon so that you would be tossed to your death (probably done before). Doesn't work. For some reason the Oddball will just sit out there on the field and not reset.

My second attempt (which I still have hope for) is save-and-quitting a receiver node beneath the map to cause a true "fall to your death." This took some work but when I did I was rejoicing until I found that this still didn't work... GAH! Thwarted by Bungie once again. This time the sender will only say "Teleporter is blocked" or whatever that message is... Interesting fact is that if the receiver has its little orange light (the direction you come out) facing up, back to the floor of Foundry, and you hit the sender with enough momentum (I dropped from the top of a box) it will actually shoot you through the floor of Foundry and back into the map (otherwise it is still "blocked") Any other direction of the receiver will stay "blocked"

Anyone have any suggestions or solutions please share them because I am quickly losing hope. I am counting on the expertise of ForgeHub to solve all my problems.

Maybe you could lower the spawn time for the ball to be super low, so that it'll pretty much respawn as soon as you drop it?

Either that or you'll have to resort to the explosive pit of doom.

Ya I thought about that but then if you decided to drop ball and fight, you win and discover that the ball is gone... Lowest is 5s, which is way too low, next is 10s which could be doable but I'll have to do a bunch of play-testing first...

Um... Right... Same as shooting them out of the map (ball just sits around until resetting) which is much more entertaining in my opinion...

i dunno youd probably have to use teleprters that lead outside of the map for that. either that or like what hari said.

Has anyone ever been able to go through a teleporter underneath Foundry? Or are they always blocked?

Like you can actually go through and fall to your death in the water beneath Foundry? I've gotten the teles underneath but can't go through to them...
