Bungie did something GOOD to Matchmaking!!

I have got satefaction from visting Bungie.net!

As some of you may know Shiska is planning to do something to matchmakingm to change Halo 3. Shiska is planning to put custom maps into matchmaking! Yes it is finally happening.

Wow, this could either make matchmaking amazing.....or just completely ruin it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. By the way thanks for letting everyong know.

It's most likely going to be more of competitive types of maps that are perfectly balanced.

I wouldn't be surprised if we wind up seeing some of the more popular game variants showing up. Things like Peasant Hunt, Cat & Mouse, In The Shadows, Fat Kid, Storm the Beach, and similar maps/variants will likely be common occurrance in these lists.

Still, I would think that they should contact the external forums to find out about favorite custom gametypes. That is, they should ask us which games to include. ^_^

Well, they will go to their favorite forgers and stuff from the past. It would be sweet if they came our way for maps, since we have such an abbundance of maps that are great. But I feel like it might be it's own playlist.

Hopefully there will be a ranked and a social playlist. Social for more casual maps, and then ranked for competitive.

the only thing i see coming out of this is an infection playlist... most of the real good competive custom maps are either on the MLG playlist already, or use the unlimited budget glitch. and some of you may or may not know, that the budget glitch can cause lag. that being said, i dont think we will be seeing any of the really good competitive maps in a playlist, bungie doesnt want to take a risk on that IMO. but some really fun custom infection maps dont use the budget glitch so i see nothing wrong with that.

That is only if you abuse the budget glitch. Lag almost never happens because it will say- Can't spawn object to many on map.

Bungie doesn't like very much Budget glitch though. It is basically cheating. I expect to see a lot of minigames such as Duck hunt in this playlist.

BTW there is no such thing as a good infection playlist.
