Looks legit, but you never know with people on the internet. It isn't a huge insight into Reach so it's nothing to go and argue about. We'll just have to wait and see.

Maybe this is what we get to play in the reach beta. Man if this is really real this will make me want to buy Halo Reach 1000 times more. The Needler/carbine I'm thinking is a covenant version of the spartan laser .

This one, to me, looks very convincing. Also, the ammo counter in the corner, by the looks of it, suggests that the Battle Rifle might be a single shot weapon this time around (if by chance, these are real.) That, or one third of the clip is already depleted.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the Battle Rifle used during the Spartans in the Reach book was a prototype, which could mean a different sort of BR is entirely possible.

The Battle Rifle in Halo 2 was single shot up until a month before release.

I'm not seeing single shot there. I think there's a whole row of spent ammo above the lit up unspent rounds shown. Anyone with 'shop skills to up the contrast or invert the polarity or reverse the whatchamacallit or whatever you photoshop wizards do to make things more visible?

The gap between the number '12' and the line of ammo is the outline of a BR. it looks like the clip is full to me.

The guy that post the pics also said:
1- The BR is a single shot weapon and it is very powerful at long range (maybe similar to H2?) => Everybody form MLG is loving this idea.
2- There is a perk system and with it you can get invisible, run fast, etc... => Everybody from MLG is hating this idea, I think is something they created to substitute the equipments, could be interesting...
