IMO i didnt enjoy nazi zombies all that much.. ill openly agree that it was the best thing on that piece of sh....... moving on. Firefight is so much better in terms of gameplay. If you've completed your Endure achievement yet, you should understand the team work required on Firefight is 10x more than on nazi zombies.. Or at least it was with the friends i was playing it with. We worked hard and played harder.. we had a right laugh.. at the start we were all serious because we wanted to get endure, but after the first set realised its a lot easier than people made out and after set 4, we just had an AMAZING slayer game with all the covenant still raining havoc around us. It was MINT! You cant exactly do that in Nazi zombies, because if one guy dies, thats it, over, KAPUT!

Long story short, Firefight is 10x better because it lasts 10x longer. Why sit in a lobby waiting for countdowns and friends to turn up when you can just have a laugh in a meaningless game? You dont have to finish it when you start it, so timescales in comparison shouldnt matter, although I prefer to play a longer game.

Nazi Zombies is a lot more fun because it can easily last much longer than firefight. In Nazi Zombies you just fight Zombies, all exactly the same but easier to catch them with said traps but Firefight has more than just slow, walking, and fast enemies it has 3 different enemies, excluding vehicles, that have more than scream and run. They both have equal difficulties but Firefight gets harder faster.

Isn't that better? And anyways Nazi Zombies is dead hard, my highest level on it was 12. But on Firefight I got to Set 3, Round 2, Wave 3. Which is harder now? (That wasn't an insult, I am just saying I think Nazi Zombies is harder)

But if you look at my first post on here it says that Nazi Zombies is better but Firefight is a bit better with firends.

So yeah that sums it up mostly.

I don't even think you can compare Firefight with Nazi Zombies. They are nothing alike, unless you think fighting wave after wave of Zombies is the same as fighting wave after wave of Aliens. If you were to compare Firefight to anything, it would be Gears of War 2's Horde mode.

And for you Nazi Zombies cons, really? The Bowie Knife is a con? I'm not exactly sure you can call an enhancement of the normal Knife a con. What did you expect, a one hit kill, long range, samari sword? I think it was great of them to give us another type of close range knife. And what do you mean you're far away sniping most of them? It all depends on the level, and most of the time you're camping in a corner of the map with your team. Also, why isn't that more of a con in Firefight, if you're standing in the back of the map the entire game, using long-range pistols and SMGs?

You've played Nazi Zombies before, right? You didn't say anything about Pack-A-Punch, or the Juggernog, Speed-Cola, etc... Machines. And those are some of the best things about Nazi Zombies.

And for your cons about Firefight, what more could you ask for about weapons? There are alien, and human weapons. A unique variety of close-range and long-range weapons. And vehicles in some cases. I don't think the amount of weapons is a con, whatsoever. And last but not least, define your version of explore. Because I think that the atmosphere of Firefight, in just about every level is fine the way they are. What more could you ask for on the terms of explore? Nazi Zombies is enclosed, with no ability to jump over obstacles, so how is that not a con for Nazi Zombies.

I love Nazi Zombies, and I kinda like Firefight. Maybe if the online didn't suck so much for ODST, I would actually enjoy it.

Edit: If a con for Firefight is that it doesn't have a Matchmaking Mode, then why isn't that a pro for Nazi Zombies?

I think firefight is ten times better becasue of what he said you have different kinds of enemys small and big and are more fun to kill other than zombies... the hole time. And also like he said you can change it up with the skulls and have more fun with the skulls that make it harder or just makes the game more enjoyable like Grunt Birthday Party. I give the edge to firefight.

My screenshots: NONE l
Working on: l Conquest Unknown- Forging 60% Complete l Conquest Twisted- Planning 60% complete l

Maps Will be delayed becasue of the Red ring of death that ive gotten recently.

I don't want to have to wait for a completely open day so I can try and top the high score, because many have gone for that long.
If you can survive two hours by yourself on legendary, I might give you a cookie.

Nazi zombies I find trickier to win at, but also slightly more fun with the pack-a-punch machine on Der Riese. I love that map although the best I've gotten to is level 28.

Firefight I still think is great with its amount of maps and night variants. It's a little annoying though when Black Eye kicks in.

The original Nazi Zombies map + Der Reise kick Firefight's ass. Nazi Zombies is just so much more fun to play with friends. You really need to use teamwork to win in Nazi Zombies. Four crappy guys can really get far with a great strategy and a lot of teamwork. I feel like Firefight you really need a lot of good guys to do really well. And like Purpledinosaur said it's like you need to set aside part of your day to play it. But, Lost Platoon split-screen is really fun. Driving around the chopper is beast.

I am extremely dissapointed and let down by firefight because i thought it was going to be alot like horde or Nazi zombies which i agree it is but it just is no fun. I almost feel as if it gets too easy and there is no thrill. I found it way too easy to get endure so i will probably sell ODST since i only wanted firefight

On the other hand Nazi Zombies has a massive thrill like when you get the wanderwaffe and MG 42 and there is an army of zombies after you so you throw a monkey bomb. It just has alot more magic in it.

Every Saturday night the custom knight, batman of custom games, or custom crusader comes out to pwn all the zombies. I am the custom knight. Join me every Saturday night.

Good post.

You gotta remember that Treyarch have whored out the Nazi Zombie idea, which was effectively a steal from Left 4 Dead anyway, to it's full extent. They have brought out like 3 DLC's so far, and gone way beyond what would be considered 'believable', with ridiculous locations and weapons included just to interest you a little more.

Bungie are always going to operate within their own set parameters with DLC, so they have greater restrictions in which to create something fun and new.
