Conquest In Matchmaking: Final Map Vote

The Conquest map nominations have been tallied up and Conquest maps that received the top ten number of nominations are listed in the poll above. The next step is to vote for the five Conquest maps that will be presented to Bungie, and represent Conquest as a whole. They will also be the maps used in Matchmaking if all goes well.

This poll is not public. And we do not want anyone to skew the results by influencing other voters in your comments. You are allowed to select multiple maps in the poll as well. You are encouraged to only select the Conquest maps you would like to play in Matchmaking, but selecting every map listed is acceptable (although it will not effect the results in any way). This poll will remain open for two weeks. The top 5 maps will be shown at that point.

Keep in mind that the maps must be compatible with either Conquest v3 or Conquest v4. We will most likely be using a new version of Conquest in our presentation. Conquest v5 is a combination of both variant that features default damage settings, immunity to headshots, and the respawn settings of v4 (all subject to change).

Also keep in mind that Chasm v2 breaks an Atlas rule by sending players out of the map. If it makes the top five, it will used in the Bungie presentation, but the next runner-up would take its place in Matchmaking. One final thing to note is that we were unable to contact aDeAdHeRo875, the creator of Artifacts. Therefore, permission to use Artifacts was never given (but it was not denied either). If aDeAdHeRo875 is opposed to using Artifacts in the vote, the next runner-up will take its place.

Predicide has created a Matchmaking version of Socratic Method. It has not been posted on any forging website. He removed the tele-cage, made it unbreakable, and the middle section is more straightforward. Keep in mind that that is the map you are voting for. Below is posted a link to each map. It is encouraged to play each map before voting (although there is no way to stop people from voting who haven't played Conquest at all). I can't vote in the poll because of the amount of infractions I have (sadface) but I'd have to vote for Socratic Method if I could. First Cquest map I've ever played and my absolute favorite overall.

hmm, I've only played on chasm, so I don't feel as though I have the right to vote, and I'm not sure that I could get a good game going.... Would this count as contacting you to play some of these conquest maps in customs one of these days, I'd really like conquest in matchmaking, social of course because I doubt Bungie would make it ranked, we need more community inspired playlists. Community objective: Featuring conquest, VIP games (Asset, Cave Freaks, etc)

Anyways, could I play some conquest with you, or should I PM you, if you're reading this you already know, why would I PM you? So, can we play some of these maps with these conquest maps?

Cellars will remain my favorite Conquest map of all time. I love the choke points and the reward/failure effects of where you decide to hold out.

Come on guys, cellars is the original conquest map. The first. And it boasts some of the best gameplay. The original creators (I'm not including myself in this at all) deserve that map to make it in. If it were up to me it would be automatically in, but since it's not, I just have to ask you guys to vote for it. Come on guys, this is a pretty obvious choice.

I love this idea and all of these conquest maps are just amazing. It would be great to see any of them in matchmaking, and i hope it eventually happens
