Bungie Vs. The World Teams Announced!

Go stop by this thread, at Bungie.net and you will see the roster that Bungie has put together and the times!

I'll most likely have a broadcast showing up on 1:00am PDT at http://www.justin.tv/jpitty me and a few friends are pulling all nighters for shits and giggles. It's me and moltenslowa, from forgehub, and two of my real life buddies that got 50's in MLG, so it should be fun to watch.

For some reason, I knew for a fact that Bungie was going to do it like this. Which is, have one four man team in the play list at a time and just rotate with different teams from Bungie. I kept telling all my friends that I knew that this is how they were going to do it too. Pretty good guessing if I do say so myself.

One four man team/Around 50,000-80,000 players. Imagine what luck you're going to need to get to play against them.

Exactly and even if you do get matched you only got one shot coz you not gona get matched twice lol.

You can get matched up twice, there's no restriction to you playing against them multiple times, bet you better have some really good luck though.

I think he meant that it would be extremely rare to get matched up twice.

I feel like im going to get my hopes down.... I feel like that im not going to find a single Bungie team. Its like finding the golden ticket. (note that if I get Recon from this, I will color my spartan gold and run into matchmaking screaming "I FOUND THE GOLDEN TICKET!!!!")

Depending on the time you play, it could be fairly easy to find a game, such as 2:00 AM PDT (when I am going to try to play). Most people are gone by that time, and the playlists that are usually busy are pretty empty. Also, consider the fact that half the people who play Halo don't check Bungie.net, so they won't play in the Bungie vs. The World playlist at all. I don't think it will be that hard to find a single Bungie employee game...

Too bad I'm out of fucking town! I would love to participate in this Bungie Day and maybe even play against Bungie if I'm lucky. But, no... I have to be out of town on this crappy hotel Internet that's not good enough to connect to Xbox Live. Stupid hotel won't up the bandwidth for me to play/connect at all. I so wanted to be on the Hub Pub's matchmaking team on Bungie Day to play with them. Have fun and if anyone will have a live broadcast going, can you be so kind as to send me the link on my profile so I can watch? Kthxbai...

Trust me, Ive received about 5 messages saying "Hey everyone! Guess what happens on July 7th!" Even the people that dont use Bnet probably know....

Also, there are so many threads saying "Who is going to play starting 1:00 AM?" and everyone said "ME!"

just think of it like this... every game bungie plays, they WILL pair up with someone. And that group wont be expecting it at all. You never THINK youre gonna play against them but the always HAVe to be matched with some one.
