recently posted on youtube halo 3 forges released a new episode...... guess what they used 8 emerald legs! and once again the creator Felipe dos has gotton 0 credit. now its getting worse, im changing the meaning of this fourm from helping me to helping everyone who has there map used with no credit given to them! ive tested and all it takes is a four second search on google.com to find the creator of maps on forgehub.com but the halo 3 forges are too lazy to replie to any of my messages! please PM me is you are a member of forgehub who has made and posted a map used by halo 3 forges. we can make them give people credit but how? please help this cause and give the people the credit they deserve!!!!!

Hello people of forgehub! this is the first real thing ive ever posted in the fourms but i need your help. The is a series of machinima called Halo 3 forges. you may know it and how they usually dont give credit. belive it or not they have posted two of my maps. Both Jumping on the rocks which appeared in the cristmas episode and Hurricane town V4 which is the most recent. please go to these videos and get the truth out!! i cant do this alone here is a link to the Hurricane town episode,

over 10,000 people have already seen it and i get 0 credit. have you ever had you map taken? well im not sure why but the game The rocks is in Kenburn's fileshare and it is said to be made by him because of the Cristmas episode found here

it has over 2000 Dls!! but again 0 credit to me. i hope that evereone to read this will take the time to bring justice and give a member of this community what i deserve. i hope that everyone that can will try to help in this.

What's funny is peoples responses. Seriously? If you really like the maps shown, you'll search them, find them, and... what's that? An author signature? Never even knew it existed.

People need to chill.

Orly? Halo 3 Forges say that you can find these files in their File Share, and if you take a look you'd see that the author was changed for every map, which isn't necessary for an upload. If a simple search would find the map, why don't they do a search and find the original author? I did a search for Forgotten Crypt and the only version I found was Vice's so they could've easily of done it, but were probably too lazy.

I've already reported the files. It's a shame people have to steal other people's map. But hey, just count all the DL's they have as yours. You know you made it.

PM them and complain. They'll probably take more time to credit people in the future. They might at least change their vid's description to give you credit...

It's not about the dl's, it's about knowing who made the map. Who took the time to get every interlock correct. Who took the time to get the overall design down pat. Fuck a download count. It's all about the name, and the deserving/justified recognition.

I personally am disgusted that they've been doing it, and when I saw machinima.com's youtube hosting the series, I unsubscribed. It's an absolute disgrace.

Do you Honestly think they will take that into consideration. Besides the fact that its Machima's channel and they probably get hundreds of messages the don't bother to look at anymore.

Tex says it all. A DL count is appreciated, but recognition outlaws it. I'd rather people know the time I spent on the map, rather then having someone else receive my credit. It totally contradicts the point of making a map.

The only posssible solution I see fit, is to address it on the Machinima forums. Sign up, make a thread, and see the responses. I'm sure some die-hard Machinima fans won't even know the crime they're commiting.

thanks everyone i need all the help i can get hopefully this will work and the credit will be given. and tex says it all thats what im angry about i got no credit sure its nice that its been Dled alot but i got no credit. at this moment my biggest fear is to see one of these on bungie favorites made by them. that would be the last straw i need the help i can get to make sure that does not happen, and mabye help others in the future.
