Death Barriers

Is it possible to delete/turn off death barriers as i would like to explore the crane shafts in rat's nest, as they would make a great map.

It is impossible to take them off, I think. What I did to get in there was get a machine gun turrent and do the glitch thing. I'm sure you know what I mean

I have only gotten so far up the stairs on Rats nest... its harder then you expect...

Elastic and death barriers suck. Mainly because you can't turn them off using forge

you can get past most, but i do believe the newer ones (avalanche in particular) were made so it would be very difficult to get past.

Hopefully the mythic map pack has some interesting escapes.

i have got past the elastics, but as you go up in monitor mode, you hit a death barrier. I was trying to get to one of the several open doorways above this barrier.

Stairs on rats nest? what do you mean?

I have only been able to get past the second crane platform, It is almost imposible to get past the third one.
