Guardian out Heretic in!?

With the new v7 Maps/Gametypes Gaurdian Ball and Slayer have been dropped in favour of Heretic?
AND there's still a sword on Heretic!
Post below with your comments ie. Guard vs Heretic
or Maps that should be removed / added.

I'm glad Guardian TS is finally removed. At the higher levels of play it just turned into standoffs that resulted in one team holding the snipe while the other team waits for camo to respawn so they can make a charge. That was no fun to play or watch.

Guardian ball on the other hand will be missed, but I like all 3 Heretic games being added to the lineup so I'll survive.

I hate Heretic. I don't have ODST and I played it for the first time yesterday and I lost every game I played on it. I didn't even do bad, I just didn't know where to go to help with spawns and stuff. I'll probly grow to like it over time, but as of now it's my least favorite map on the circuit.

Heretic is infinitely more fun and more competitive. It shouldnt even be a question.

Well it's a hands down fan favourite and if you played some Halo 2 you'd prolly understand.

I really wouldn't mind if they would have a mythic 2 DLC, instead of having to rely on a disc. Anyway Novak, i need a 10 in doubles.

Personally I dont like Heritic (I think its to dark) I liked Midship (much brighter) better. Not a big fan of Gaudian either so I guess Im at a loss here.

It just doesn't make any damn sense to me... Guardian was one of the most favored maps in history... Heretic too, but the flow that Guardian has blows Heretic'S out of the water. Trying to move around Heretic is like moshing with the map's geometry, Guardian felt bigger (may be bigger if I'm not mistaken) and more open while still having very appropriate lines of sight. Heretic also has a different kind of gameplay which is the kind of game where you BR someone until they get to cover and have one of their teamates kill you. All Heretic is, from my experience, is CQB with BR starts and too many grenades which causes camping, unorganized random games and people thinking, "They replaced Guardian with this shit?????"

What I really want to know is why Guardian was taken out and not Construct (a.k.a. Cuntstruct), the most unbalanced map in matchmaking. It's the easiest map to spawn kill on, the easiest camping map and the worst lift usage in any map I've seen (bungie made anyway).

Back on topic, I don't hate that Heretic is in more than I hate that Guardian is out. Why couldn't bungie just add a new map instead of trading one? Why did bungie take out the most played map in custom games aside from foundry and sandbox? Why did they remove the map all together instead of the one gametype they felt was unfair? Why did they keep CUNTSTRUCT???
