C5 Gaming vs Jamp

Organize your matches and post your results here.

Before you can get underway with round 10 of the tournament, make absolutely sure you have the correct version of Credence and the three gametypes you'll play in the tenth round: Faceoff Slayer, Faceoff KotH and Faceoff Ball.

If you have any questions, consult the 2v2 Tournament Guide.

Team name: Jamp
Gamertag (team leader): geckio007
Gamertag (teammate): IamDiesel

Our time is Eastern Standard Time. We both have busy schedules during the week. We both have either school or work until 5:00 EST. So it will have to be after 5:00 PM EST during the week and then we are involved with other after school activities, so sometime after 5PM. Also, my teammate is leaving town for the weekend so it will have to be before Friday. I left you a message on your profile page letting you know we need to play before the weekend. Thursday is actually the best time for us.

We are available during these times.

Tuesday - anytime after 9:00 PM EST.
Wednesday - anytime after 9:00 PM EST.
Thursday - anytime after 5:00 PM EST
Friday & Saturaday - unavailable

Let me know what day would be good and maybe a time to shoot for. Leave a message here or send us a FR on Xbox Live. Don't forget to let me know your GT's and your time zone.

Our time zone is GMT. We too are busy on school nights hence why we have played all of our games on the weekends in the tournament. With the time difference i'm not sure whether or not it can be done on a thursday.

Find out what time your partner is leaving on friday. Also will he be able to play on sunday?

I've checked with my teammate and he leaves around 4PM EST on Friday. I don't get off work until 5 PM so that won't work. And he won't be getting back until later Sunday.

That leaves just tonight (Wednesday night) and Thursday to get this game in as I have previously stated. You are 5 hours ahead of us so that will eliminate playing tonight because we are not available until 9PM, which would be 2 in the morning your time. So that only leaves Thursday. We should play some time between 5 and 7 PM on Thursday. That is 10 PM and midnight your time, which 10 PM I believe is reasonable given our circumstances.

Given that is our only option, I guess I will see you tomorrow at 5PM (that is 10 PM Thursday your time.).

Yo, Mastar. This one is for you. Appreciate the support!

In my opinion, Credence is the best map of the 2v2 tournament. It was a lot of fun playing this map against some tough opponents. So it was do or die for Jamp after surviving the last couple of tough rounds in the losers bracket. They will live on to push the Group 2 championship to Round 11.

The slayer round was interesting because it started off at a grueling pace with everyone scrambling for power weapons and the camo. Then it slowed up as both teams posted up in their bases trying to get an angle on the opposition. A few shots with the BR and then to cover. Awesome game play when the teammates know how to work with each other to move up, attack or retreat. After a few lucky plays put Jamp ahead, there was no turning back.

The KotH game was just the opposite. One team spawned right on the hill while the other took their time to gather up power weapons and plan their attack to take the hill. Then all hell broke lose as for the rest of the game both teams battled relentlessly to keep control of the hill. As the lead changed hands continuously throughout the match, it was Jamp to take the lead for the final time.

Here are the results:

Game 1: Faceoff Slayer

Winner: Jamp

Game 2: Faceoff KotH

Winner: Jamp

Final Score: Jamp - 2 C5 Gaming - 0

Nice win Jamp, and good luck for the rest of the tournament

C5 Gaming had some pretty slick moves too though ;)
