My First PS Signature

So yeah, that's it. I used Adobe Photoshop CS2, took about 5-10 minutes. Fail right?

Anyway, I personally don't mind how it turned out, maybe I'll offset the text to center with the purple, instead of centered with the whole image. I have a version that is all shades of gray, from the chrome, but I won't post that, it's not important.

Opinions people? Or someone wanna give me some tips to use PS better?

Edit: Just an FYI, all I did was use the blend tool to make a rising-sun type circle in the center. Then I played with filters. That's about all I know how to do.

oui but the major problems are probally dimensions and text

I don't know how to do anything with text, any pointers?
I just used a style from the presets, it was better than plain text though.

It's kind of terrible in general.

Text needs help, it's a big color clash, no flow or focal point really.

Anyway, play with it.

presets are only good if you use them at the appropriate time and i dont recommend using them on text

filters need to be used correctly when need and just watch some diffent tutorialsto see how you can combine some filters to get great effects
but also try to make your own
