Besides it would still be very easy to cheat and vote with bias if someone wanted to. Don't blame the system for you not getting many votes vinny.

I participated in one a couple months ago, and if you believe i'm proposing this system because of the amount of votes I got, then you're wrong.
I've been watching these SOTW every once in a while, and sometimes i'll see that people like Lockdownn and others seem to get more votes even though it seems there entries were a bit subpar to other entries by users not as known.
I suppose you would be able to cheat, but at least it will help.
