XX Blivion:

#1
-First of all, you are getting much better. For some simple steps, move the render to the left a little to cover up some of the bright white on the BG. Secondly, add a light source to increase the feeling the render was on the BG already. Good text, but place it a little higher. Having text in the corner brings a little too much attention away from the focal. Smudging on the BG is good, but smudge the persons "wings" a little outwards. Just to make it blend a little more.

Paranormal:

#1
-There is some pretty good smudging here, but the tan color in the middle is a little too solid. Its kind of like he's against a solid object instead of a smudged BG. The gradient is kind of bad because the blur on the right seems like a cut-out of the BG. Its very easy to see the focal, and thats a good thing. But I think you should have blurred the edges of the render a little. This will add greatly to the smudged arms. Text is OK, but nothing special. Try placing the sub-text FF-XII In smaller letters below your name.
