GIMP Problem?

I had FrostWire, Safari, and GIMP open all at once (yeah it was slow) and then suddenly my laptop turned off. I turned it back on and gimp was ejected from the desktop. WTF? Everything else is fine. FrostWire didn't eject (those are the only things on my computer that are ejected). Is it GIMP or is it my mac? I trashed all my GIMP related things besides brushes and emptied the trash. If this should be in General or whatever, just move it please, but it is a graphic related question.

well i dont know much about macs, but my gimp has been acting up lately too. not as severe as with you though. if i had to guess, i would say that the workload of the programs caused your comp to crash... and some stock apple program got rid of the application that took up the most space. just a theory though

all of those programs open at once caused your computer to crash.. im guessing your Mac identefied GIMP as the problem and ejected it.

Well I re-downloaded it and nothing is wrong so far. So that is probably the problem.
