Hey, everybody. As you can tell, I'm very new to the forum. Some of you might have seen me lurking around the graphics section in the last few days, and I'm just starting to establish myself as a member here. I've been checking out the art section and I've noticed that a large majority of users here use GIMP. That's perfectly understandable; I can tell you firsthand that Photoshop costs a bloody fortune. However, having used Photoshop for the last several years now and really gotten to know its full capabilities, I can honestly say that I wouldn't sell it for a dime cheaper myself. It's really good to see so many beginners interested in joining the graphics design community. Although GIMP seems like a fine designing program, there are some things that, unfortunately, it just can't do. And that's why I've opened this Photoshop graphics shop.
A little bit about me:
I've had Photoshop for a couple years now. I spent a lot of time just learning what the tools do and what all the individual layer effects and filters can be used for. A little bit later, I moved into signature design for forums and things of that nature. Now, a few years after that, I work professionally, creating templates, logos, concept designs, and other formal works of art. I can honestly say that I haven't made a serious signature in two years or more, but
I made one today and I think it turned out all right. :)
I'm sad to say that I am very busy in my work and other activities that take time, so I'm not going to be accepting specific signature requests at this moment. This means I do not have the time to make special backgrounds from filters, defaults, stocks, et cetera. I am, however, offering a variety of different brushed backgrounds that I can easily open up in P-Shop and start using. On the other hand, and as the title of this thread might suggest, "General Graphics" means I will be designing custom logos and things of the sort if they are requested. I will be custom-making these designs because I feel they will be in less demand than signatures, and because using a uniform logo design
can, after all, be considered copyright infringement/self-plagiarism. ;)
tl;dr: Lots of experience and you can count on me to deliver nothing but the best of quality.
Signatures
- I will show a few completed signatures below so you can see the sorts of results I am capable of achieving.
- The images below are the stock backgrounds from which you can choose for your signature request. The colors I have added to them are not permanent; they are just there so you're not looking at a bunch of ugly, desaturated backgrounds.

Perhaps more to come soon.
To begin, refer to your background of preference by its labeled number. If you would like a picture, or "render," as the focal point of your signature, please provide a link to a picture you would like to use. Pictures should be as large as possible to ensure high quality in the outcome. If you do not want a render, just request the color(s) you want the signature to be.
The signature will then be made to match the color(s) of that render. Do not bother asking for a specific font or anything like that. Believe me, I know what looks good and what doesn't, and I'll do my best for you. Also provide a name that you wish to be on the signature, if you want one.
Avatars
I will also do my best in making you an avatar, if you choose. I can make one as long as it is within reason. If you wish for me to make you one of my special orb avatars, just request one and I can make it for you.
General Graphics
If you are seeking some sort of a logo, splash page, or thing like that, just ask and I'll see what I can do. Please note, however, that these take longer to do than signatures and that I might deny a request depending on its complexity. I'm just one guy. *shrug*
Please understand that I have a lot of work to do and I'm already being swarmed with graphics requests. I'll try my best to get everything done as soon as possible, but eventually I have to pack it up for the night. You have priority over someone who posted after you, but fulfilling everyone's request takes time. Please be patient, and I appreciate it greatly.
Please be as specific as possible when requesting graphics. I am a human being, which means I do not like to keep redo-ing designs a million times because you cannot competently post what you want. If you want "an avatar," please don't expect me to guess which color you want. I find it a little harsh to just skip over requests that are vague, but come on. I choose to do this, so please don't make it difficult for me, okay? Thanks for your consideration.
I think that's about it. I look forward to serving you and if you have any questions regarding anything in this post, please do not hesitate to ask.
Cheers,
