Default Time Zone Collaboration

Here's a collaboration of all of the time zones relative to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

Hopefully it'll help with planning and doing certain events with players from accross the globe - without the nonsense of having to go to another site to find the infomation.

I would include a spoiler to the code but it doesn't work, if you need it, just PM me.

Daylight Saving:

For the countries in blue in this map - daylight saving is used. This means that in Summer Time, the clocks are put forward 1 hour in response to it getting darker earlier.

This would mean that in Summer Time, your area would be an extra 1:00 ahead of what it would normally be.

Approximately 70 countries utilize Daylight Saving Time in at least a portion of the country. They all save one hour in the summer and change their clocks some time between midnight and 3:00 a.m.

Credit for the idea to include Daylight Saving goes to Mallet

That is cool. I will bookmark that, but is it just me or is your thread really glitchy?

Yeah it was becuase I tried to include the code in a spoiler - which didn't work.

The problem is fixed now but it just means you won't have easy access to the code.
If someone could give me a pointer on how to add the code in a spoiler, I'd be grateful.

Very, very nice. The coding would have taken ages.

This is very useful for myself and I'm sure TGIF hosts will be greatly appreciative of this also.

I've found this site: Time Zone Converter
To be of help in the past. It even remembers your setting so for instance if there is a map test at 2pm EST on the 3rd I can check that to see what it is for me, and then a couple of days later load the site again to check a test for 6pm EST on the fourth.

Works great when thread posters in the Tester's Guild follow the rules and post using the one Time Zone.
