Gears 2's reign short lived, Halo 3 tops Xbox Live list

Halo 3 is a good game to pop on if you're bored, there are a lot of things to do.
Lots of features like Forge, Customs, four player online Co-op; It's a kickass social game.

Yeah, I played whatever version of COD it was that they had running on the demo pods when the 360 first came out, thought it was kinda cool.
Then played COD 4 on my girlfriend's bro's PC and it was kinda meh;

It's because Gears 1 multiplayer > Gears 2 multiplayer

These games are hard to be compared. Halo 3 defiantly has the more competitive gameplay, more varieties of gametypes and maps, and is overall more based across multilayer. Although on the other hand, Gears of War's 2 Horde mode is one of the funnest gametypes out there, and the story line kicks ass.

So both games have incredible aspects, but in the end, I guess Halo 3 just has more variety.

I'm pretty sure the reason CoD isn't number 1 is because the release of CoD 5 essentially split the community in two.

Own both of what? Call of Duty 5 and Gears of war 2? I own both Halo 3 and Gears of war 2. I don't really like Gears of war 2's matchmaking so I only play it for it's Horde and campaign.

I only liked call of duty 4 modern warfare for a little while, but other than that I was never really a fan of the series either.

CoD went down hill when they basically sold their soul for mass appeal. They destroyed mostly what the game was about and attracted all the biggest douchebags ever to hit gaming. Almost everyone gets bored as shit of that game, and thats why it's not number1

Gears is awesome but the glitches and the changes just make the newbs and the hardcore 1 fans annoyed. Halo3 just as the most to offer. It really was the GOTY when it launched.
