Large Art Extravaganza

Welcome to the first Large Art Extravaganza, hosted by your own Lone Deity. This contest will run from today, Tuesday August 4th until Friday August 14th. Voting will take place in the following five days.

You may be wondering, "What are the rules?" or "When will my Hot Pocket be ready?"

To answer the first question, here are the rules in short:

• All entries must be at least 600px by 600px, or larger.
• Your entries may be done digitally or by almost any medium. If you choose to draw, paint, or anything of the like, I encourage the use of a scanner.
• Ripping will result in a ban from this competition, and most likely an infraction.
• If the image looks as if it was ripped, an inquiry into the sources will be made

Mehhh, that's not typical large art size.
Most people use like 550x450 or 600x550 or something like that. 600x600 is waaaaay to big...

50 pixels is not that much larger. It's Large Art.

I have never seen 550x450 considered large art... Personally, if I am making large art I go with at least 1920x1080, if not larger, and at least 300 ppi.

I am actually starting to make my entry right now, I can't wait to see what everyone submits. I hope there are more large art contests in the future as well, its a nice change of pace from sig-making.
