Wow, I never knew about the teleporter node idea to fine-tune merges. This will help iron out those rough bits on my map.

^^Thanks Norlinsky^^

Very nice guide Matty and Ivory. It is really well written up and it explains all of the techniques extremely well. The mancannon idea is awesome and should help me a lot. Also, the save and quit technique is really helpful for complicated merges. Great job guys.

Nice guide but I am confused about the Save and Quit method, because ur just saying to tap "A" on the object and then saving and quiting...do we have to surround it, i am confused please clarify.

with the save/quit method you brace the object you want to merge. Once you have your doors or w/e you use in the object you tap a ONCE in the object, and save/end the game you are in while still holding that object. It is probably known as the most accurate method of geo-merging, although time consuming.

Also, the man-cannon thing looks so awesome. I usually use save/quit but doing that would really speed things up and it pretty much seems just as accurate.

LOL My buddy and I have been using this technique for such a long time now. It's not even possible to do some of the geomerges that I did in my latest map Castlanche without using a man cannon. Other techniques that weren't even mentioned here were also used.

Thanks Matty and Ivory Snake for taking the time to put this good guide together.

I won't be adding that purely because it's just the original way people used to merge (yes there was a technique before doors) and because of it's simplicity. this is advanced merging.

you place the teleporter receiver node in the centre of where the box will spawn, then when you get under the map, look up and grab the small teardrop object icon thingy and it will be pulled under the map.

I don't know if you saw my first request but it would be VERY helpful I think for many members is you guys make a tutorial on how to do exact angle geo-merges where you want (Like making an exact angle to match up with this half door geo-merged box). Also on how to do custom angles.
