I already knew this trick. However, it's hard to get things to line up on Avalanche when making something like a floating ship. Any tips? Thanks!

i've been screwing around with this for awhile now, trying to make a multi-leveled floating base on Avalanche, with upside-down bridges as the floors.

the easiest way i've found is to use both the 'save changes-end game' trick and the stacking boxes trick.

i start out floating a double box in mid air, save-end then load up the map again. from there i'll start stacking double boxes in an upside-down pyramid shape to get a long, level surface to lay my bridges on. when i'm content with the bridge placement, i'll save-end then load the game up again and delete all the double boxes.

You guys messed up: the video link goes to the interlocking vid, NOT the advanced floating vid. Fix the link, but this guide was really useful anyway. Thanks!

um i dont know if this is old news or not but if you have 2 players over xbl in forge if you hold an immoble object in the air and without letting go, promote the other person to leader the object will remain in the same spot and float

i just found this out yesterday late at night and like i said it may be old news but you dont have to do the save and quit thing

Method 2

The method you mentioned is good for floating on angles. If you just want it floating, stack two boxes, wait ten seconds, delete the one on the bottom and POOF!!! The top one is floating.
