Bungie has all sorts of "Glitches" in halo they hides these just so u can find them like the man outside of Standoff u can only see him clearly if u get out of the map. and fusing objects.....if they really didnt want u 2 do that They could have made everything like the LR containers to keep u from doing that and the only maps ever to get there superbounces patched in halo 2 were tombstone and Desolation and those were bcuz every1 complained bout them!!!!!! and if bungie didnt want u 2 get out of the map an s**t then y outside of Backwash in Halo 2 it says in giant red letters PRETTY COLD OUT HERE AIN'T IT? Proving my point THIS GLITCH WILL NOT B PATCH UNLESS U COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!
No offense, but you really don't know what you're talking about. And please, for everyone's sake, learn English.

On topic... This is an amazing glitch. I'll definitely use this in the future. Thanks.

I always thought they designed the new maps with this placement technique in mind. I do not think it is a glitch, as you cannot use the "save and restart" method on the old maps.....if it had been a "glitch" then it seems like it would have worked on those too.

When I try this, my object just gets stuck in my "push object" and flips around for a while, however it never actually starts to go into the map geometry. Is there only certain spots where this works?

I'll have to try this out on a couple of my maps, maybe even fix some issues on Boarding Party. Looks kinda tough to get right, and a video would definitely help.

You can actually use Save and Quit in the original maps, it just only works with immovable objects like teleporters and weapon holders.

I'm having a little trouble. I get the object merged into the ground fine, but then comes the sticky part. Save, quit, start back up again, and the "pushing" object can't be moved at all. The reticle doesn't even recognize it when I get up close to it. Any help?

To merge into walls is the same process, but at a 90 degree angle? I'm not sure I quite understand that... Could you be a bit more detailed please?
