Mythic has been kind to many, some more than others. Mythic allowed infant forgers to come into their own. Mythic allowed talent to flourish, and creativity to fly. Those who were good became great and those who were great became godly. Personally requested commissions from many of those both great and godly have been created for this cause. Yet, the veil hovered above the final two, and to anxious faces the reveal of this heavenly artwork shall come as a cool burn in their loins.
Diadem is the final asymmetrical map of the tournament. Most definitely a fan favorite among the staff members, Diadem flaunts one of the most solid design concepts in the asymmetrical category. A ring composed of varying heights, mixed with easy sloping ramps, Diadem plays almost symmetrical in style, and creates a movement based game. A center room with many entrances pulls the atmosphere of the map together with some tighter ranged combat, while playing around the outer circle will rely heavily upon medium to long range battles. Camo and rockets lie in opposing corners, and are the most contested items, with two neutral snipers adding to the long range game.
One things for sure, if you hadn't heard Adelyss' name before, you best listen up from now on. Good luck to the remaining contestants, you've done damn well to get this far.
