Cyrus

Created By: Zombievillan

Recommend Players: 1v1
Recommended Gametype:
Conflict

1v1 Conflict, Round 6 (Winners & Losers Bracket)

Cyrus is an asymmetric map created in the middle section of Sandbox. It's small to medium size is over-shadowed by the multiple floors built up and around the entire level. Players have a variety of routes and approaches to choose from when traveling throughout the different areas, with a wide selection of jumps and ramps to take them to their destination. That's not to say, however, that its too easy to escape an oncoming fighter, because there are many tacticly placed fusion coils set in certain spots just waiting for a well thrown grenade to bounce off of a nearby column. You'll find this mighty handy for those times that an attacker gets 3 shots in and the fleeing opponent gets around that distant corner just in time.

The creation Cyrus was designed to cater towards continuous movement. The most powerful areas to hold down could be the worst places to hang around too long, and with this selection of equipment, you could be closer to death than you think. The gameplay on Cyrus is a little different from maps in previous rounds, as the arsenal revolves around four main power weapons with high respawn rates, forcing you to take your time and play smart. So load up your ammo and dont even think about camping the Shotgun spawn because death will come when you least expect it.

This will provide great inspiration for my next 1v1 map, I really like your idea of the continuous movement and the high power weapon spawn rates to keep camping to a minimum

My Maps:
-Equilibrium (1v1 or 2v2 MLG Style)

-Ignited (6-12 Player Bomb, Flag, or Slayer)

-Sanction (Work in Progress)

Only one pic? and no link to the original post. Ugh. Can you please start posting more pics so I can get a feel of the map. I'm starting to get annoyed. But anyways, it looks like a great map from the pic. The forging also looks top-notch. Great JobZombievillan!

There are 3 pictures, and no original thread as per every other 1v1 tourney map. Please think before you post.
