Antagon

Created By: Zombievillan

Recommend Players: 1v1
Recommended Gametype:
Conflict

1v1 Conflict, Round 4 (Winners Bracket)

Antagon is a symmetrical map built in the skybubble of Sandbox. One of the few symmetrical maps of the tournament, it has had quite a journey. Antagon was a map discovered in it's infant stage by a few of the staff members. Realizing the potential of the map, these staff members approached the great forger with a proposition. This proposition was to mold the workings of this larger map into an incredible 1v1 map. The Forger, and all of his talent, toiled for endless hours and crafted a masterpiece, and that masterpiece is Antagon.

Players who want to thrash the sniper and trash with their BR's are going to snuggle right into Antagon's cozy stone encased planes. Built from the ground up to be able to hold a doubles match, Antagon is able to throw down a hefty sniper game, and pull out some longer range BR sightlines. Antagons multi-leveled design draws quite a bit of confusion from the enhanced radar. Coupled with the intelligent use of SMG's and a Plasma Rifle, the central areas of the map can hold a few surprises for those planning to keep the action at a distance. Antagon is the perfect example of a classic Halo 3 showdown.

Good Luck to all players in Round Four.

Nice map setup for the next round. Cant wait to try it out with my friends. That little tunnel structure made with the y intersection is really creative. The woodwalls dont really distinguish this map from others, but its a nice effect. Does the map use tincups? No? That's pretty cool!

It was a blast with insane while playing against the running riot. Insane fell off, and I lawled and now hopefully I can get some warm ups on it, seeing as I didn't make the tourney regestration. Quick note, stay with your br and the plasma rifle, it worked for me.

Walked around this map yesterday. I love the pathways and how unique going around the map feels.

Congrats on yet another feature, Zombie. Well deserved. Can't wait to try this out.

As usual, Zombievillain is at his finest, this time though it is for our 1v1 contest. The map looks as great as all the other maps released previously for the contest. Ofcourse, I'm sure the gameplay will be the same.

Penance-Antagon excluding paratroxity so far. Or there are front page posts for each of the rounds that have a few of the maps for the rounds in them.

Ok cool. Well then perhaps an archive thread should be created which contains all the maps?
