Paratroxity

Paratroxity
Created by YEE MAN, Mander, BuddhaCrane, Gamer720, T3CHH, Jmen77

Recommended Players: 1

Required Gametype: 6 Creators

Through the dense mist of competitive maps, Mander and his crew of puzzle-making enthusiasts unearth a map unlike most of its kind; that map being Paratroxity. Made by the clever giants of the puzzle making community, Paratroxity stands out as being one of the most rewarding (and enjoyably frustrating) maps that will leave you earning for another. Each original step to the puzzle is what makes this masterpiece something completley unique: once you finish one step, the next will only baffle you more.

Paratroxity is split into twenty-four creative steps for players to solve. Each step comes with a witty clue that'll supply you with hints, but of course, no answer. Everything on this map has a purpose, and your sole job is to figure out what it is to reach the next inspiring step of the puzzle. Jumps are implemented into the map to test the true extent of skill and knowledge one has. Paratroxity, although a puzzle map, still shows great and clean forging, making the tense gameplay smooth and satisfying. This map is definitely worth the download to both novice puzzlers and experts; both will have an unimaginable amount of fun, and above all, satisfaction when completing each puzzle one step at a time. At that, we leave you with two words: "Good luck."

I tried this map, and failed. It really is a work of art. I had 5 people in my party, and we still couldn't figure it out. Is it true that you can actually finish it with one person?

I believe the correct term is "pooned".

I often times speak without thinking. If you feel my post is derogatory please PM me.

Holy crap, I tried this map out 1 or 2 months ago and I still can't beat it to this day. But after playing it 50 kajillion (o.k. maybe 1 kajillion) times, I can say that it is probably one of the best puzzle maps out there. Which reminds me, nice editing on the video!

wow..... all I can say is wow.... I am already confused by the pictures. It looks incredibly hard to solve. Well it looks incredibly well made and contains new kinds of puzzles.

If any puzzle map were ever to be featured, it had to be this one. I honestly can't beat this one.. it's just so hard...

Very well deserving of the feature.

This should definately help its chances in winning the votes for Best Technical map in BoF.

Holy crap, thanks for the feature! We put a lot of work into this beast of a map, and after restarting it a number of times to get it up to standards it came out better than we hoped, but this, this is unexpected. Thank you very much good sirs of ForgeHub.

My one request would be if you could change the video to the other one in the original thread as we decided it was the better preview vid for two reasons:
-It doesn't mispell T3CHH800's gamertag.
-It doesn't give away as much about the challenges as this one does.
Thanks

Great job with Paratroxity Yee Man, Buddha, Mander, Gamer, T3ch, and Jmen! I saw this as a probable feature the moment I laid eyes on it. Each challenge took me a long time to figure out and I wasn't even able to finish it. I'd really like to see this team work together on another project after Paratroxity.

Nice write-up Raynne. :)

Thankyou so much for featuring this. We put a lot of work into it and I think it turned out great. Don't listen to silly mander about the trailer change :P.
