The nearly 10k people who have downloaded it and are enjoying it. What's the point of making a map at all?

Frankly even if no one had downloaded it and me and my friends were the only ones that liked it I still would have built it.


Vvvvv lockout was excluded from the contest. Even then this map is budget glitched so it broke another rule trying to go for accuracy

Man about time this would get featured. I played on this a bunch with my friends and we had a (nostalgic) blast.

Old School CTF v3 - A map just like the game you used to play with your friends, featuring a jail and a jailbreak system.

Damn what an impressive map! I am downloading this and will probably put this in my fileshare! I always complained about blackout because the jumps were drastically changed and you couldn't mimic them. Now you made a fantastic remake props to you man! This is GREAT!

I don't mean to be rude but this map seems redundant to me, it might have been good 1 map pack ago but now I don't really see the point. I have to give it to the Author though, the map does look clean and Etc. but i think Bungie beat him to the point.

The point is that tis feels ALOT more like Lockout then Blackout does. You can actually use library window, shoot peoples heads in the middle without those huge guardrails bloking them and you can do many jumps which are no possible on Blackout. Most of these jumps made Lockout, Lockout!

This is why it was remade, many were unhappy with Blackout because it deviates from Lockouts awesome design so much. Because of this map being made they can judge how Halo 3 plays with the original Lockout, not one made for the 'less intelligent' population known as Blackout.
