i can't bring myself to delete this map out of my custom content because my friends and i can't get enough of it. i see lots of similarities to sidewinder and it was one of my favorites on halo 1 but its nice to see ideas taken from an old map into a new one, not a recreation.

even though this is made by the yavimayan, who i think is the best forger on this site, I dont like the gameplay of the map. It is well built as lways though.

To my amazement bungie still hasnt remade Sidewinder. they know its a favorite of the halo community simply because only two maps in H1 could use vehicles thus they were played the most frequently, plus its the only map to date that had ice slicks on it. Wheres the return?? well here is the best thing we've got, until we get ice slicks and ladders to place in forge :)

And I'm not trying to say this is a bad map, many people like it and can be fun to play, however it could be a lot better.

Kudos for an attempt at making the map, not the easiest map to remake, biggest map on H1 built into little 'ol foundry, but you tried. Innovative bases too, but the resemblance is a little shaky, maybe a little bit of decor to spice it up?

I just played this in a 2 vs 2 slayer type, it was really fun. It goes to show that a map does not have to be extremely intricate to be fun.
