Avalanche, the mini-game and casual haven, is back in force with Com Tower, BattyMan's signature winter aesthetics now being twinned with an innovative Territories variant. Defenders must protect the 3 territories, each overlooked by its own Tripod which is accessible from the main Com Tower, the base of which holds the 4th and final territory. The Com Tower itself dominates the visual atmosphere of the map, and the Tripods compliment the imposing challenge presented to the attacking team.
The Tripods are all linked via teleporter to the Com Tower, the sender nodes in each Tripod cabin leading into the depths of the main Tower and netting you a grav lift on the way. This is used to boost up to 1 of 3 teleporters within the main Com Tower chamber, each of which leads to a corresponding Tripod. Defenders must move from one Tripod to another via the Com Tower to defend any territory which is under attack, but watch your backs. If you lose the territory beneath the Com Tower then you can no longer pick up the grav lift in there and are stranded from all the Tripod cabins, leaving only the emergency teleporter exits from the tower and a long journey on foot to reach each territory. A strategic team game stemming from an innovative use of gametype settings and a meticulously forged play area, Com Tower promises hours of fun for all the family.
