This is Grindstone, this is where hope goes to die and blood pours out. Where any team that wants to win must give it their all and then some. Where one false move and the battle is lost. Where victory is seldom heard, but defeat runs rampant. This is Grindstone, are you ready?

Grindstone is a step in another direction from other foundry maps. It is assymetrical and uses about three quarters of foundry and almost every piece of geometry is connected. With it's blend of unique mergings and seamless interlocking, grindstone boasts one of the best visuals of any large-scale foundry map.

It has evolved over several months through trial and error to bring the best possible gaming experience. Gameplay is often hectic and wildy fun due to the ebb and flow of the map as combatants constantly fight for the upper hand. Weapons have been shuffled and balanced to increase player movement around the map.

Tournament players please note that a NEW variant is being used for 1-Flag, linked below. This variant has been designed specifically for Grindstone, so make sure you use the correct one when playing your matches.

Finally this is out. I got the lucky chance of joining Rusty when he was entering forge, before he turned off open party. I am glad to see that this map lives up to what I thought it would be. Amazing, just amazing.

Finally....finally this map is out. I'm glad it is, but now, all maps that even closely resembles this will be blamed for copying. That is not ok IMHO. I've seen it happen even before this map was posted that someone was attacked.
Well, a lot of originality in this, but some structures have been copied from other maps, for sure.
Anyways, great map, loved playing it when I found it on fileshares around *wink wink*

Wow this map is just incredible, I love the unique layout that it has and the rocket and sniper are like the perfect power weapons for this map.
Very nice job with the map also good job on taking your time on the interlocking guys.
This should be perfect for the tournament

GrindStone.Its finally here.Wow Shadow,you tricked me.I knew rusty was working on this but i didn't think you were.This has to be the best 2v2 map for the tourney.Nice job guys.No matter what,this should have got featured.Very nice work.

wow all i have to ssay is congrats cause this map deservess a feature. I saw the video and whoever was in the video was a good sniper=] . I havent seen a map made by rusty in a while.

I'm sorry to put it this way guys, but the map was set out to be featured from the beginning....its a 2v2 Tourney map after all, so they have to feature it.....
The map plays great, therefore, not getting bumped out of being considered a 2v2 map for the Tourney, get me?
