The map plays great, therefore, not getting bumped out of being considered a 2v2 map for the Tourney, get me?
Actually you have no idea how far in the making this tournament goes do you. I designed it exactly for the purpose of this tournament which is a long time in coming. Thanks to Shadow, the map really came along visually and with some of the tough stuff.

Also about your earlier comments. I have no problem with inspiring others, I like doing that and that is one of the reasons I designed this map the way it is, so that maps in the future will continue to be unique and diverse.

But, do not mistake that I have copied or have been inspired by other mapmakers. That design was in place almost six months ago and nearly finished at five. It has taken the rest of this time due to minor changes and mostly testing and plus the fact that it had to wait till this point in the tournament. If we wanted it published it would have been out at least three months ago.

So, don't be ignorant and claim that I have ripped off other's ideas. That being said, I am fully aware of those that have made similar designs after seeing grindstone and I am not upset or offended.

Oh and I'm glad you like it ;)

I laugh in the general direction of anyone who things you can 'steal' ideas from peoples maps.

Oh rusty...I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about Shadow Viper. He lashed out at my friend's map for having the bridge strucutres. Word. Turns out, my friend actually was the first to come up with those structures.

As for the map being for the Tourney from the beginning. Let me put it this way: if the map didn't live up to its standards by the end of its creation, it wouldn't be put in, right?

And I do love the map haha

EDIT:

Well I played this allready with Bl00d and Drak and I have to say that it is definaqtely one of the greatest H3 maps to date. Flawless everything and the geomerging is quite tremendous also!

Great work guys! This doesn't dissapoint!

Your right you can't steal an idea, but you can copy it and be inspired by it.

I'm not sure what bridge structure you're talking about, I've never seen it and I'm sure that somewhere in the Halo universe that it has been done before.

You should have seen some of the other candidates, and how can a map have it's own standards if it hasn't been made yet?

But you're right, if it sucked it wouldn't have been put in.

Wow, it reminds me of terminal. I never knew foundry was so... big. It's certainly not the most aesthetically pleasing compared to some other features, but gameplay is WOW!

I believe the correct term is "pooned".

I often times speak without thinking. If you feel my post is derogatory please PM me.

Aesthetics are a waste of budget honestly. And in actuality, this map is pretty cool looking. Stupid, random, way to many interlocked/geormerges in one structure is not cool aesthetics.

Well Rusty, I must say, that from a forgethrough I am impressed. I don't have anyone to play it with atm, but I'm almost never impressed at first glance, so hey thats saying something. Not that you care or anything lol..

Yes! It's finally out! Although I got it earlier because I downloaded it from Shad0w Viper's file share. The gameplay feel is super epic win in this map. The forging skills and the awesome geo-merging are truly superb. This has to be the best map I have seen in a long time. Very very great job. 5/5.
