Default The Singularity

The Singularity
Created By: x DREAM 76 x

Gametypes Supported: Battle Tracks
& RACETRACKS
Recommended Players: 2-8 Players

A singularity is something uncommon or unusual and this racetrack is anything but your common course. Not only is this one of the smoothest tracks made but it’s easy on the eyes as well. The design of the course is a wide banked turn spiraling around the entirety of foundry. The course is of simple design but simplicity doesn’t mean it’s easy. With barely any railing on the massive turn a driver could easily fall from the giant spiral of a track and be forced to start over from the beginning.

What makes this track even better is the fact that the finish line is high above the ground reachable only through a jump; so remember to accelerate onto the ramp to clear the distance.

Wow! The track looks really really smooth and you somehow made a foundry race map look huge with the awesome wide track. I don't think anyone can get a track as smooth as this. I'll dl and check it out. and congrats on the feature man!

I havent played this map, i normally scroll over the race maps and carry on. But this was a good choice, the interlocking looks really neat and pretty like most good race maps these days.
And dont get me wrong, Race maps are fun and a great way to bring everyone together (Competitive, Casual, Race, Mini Game)
But we just had one and i was talking to some members on live the other day and they were confused as to why race maps were being featured. I was hoping next time a race map gets featured that it could be a mix of a mini game also sort of like brute burnout. But back on topic, great map, great post, and not a bad write up Pegasi :)

Rectracks like this are the ones that make the gametype fun. That Halotracks stuff was no where near the quality of this map. It merges seamlessly to create a fluid and coherent race track. Good job blocking off the finish line too. Great map.

Hey, maybe you could put in some tele-arrows after the finish line. So it's easier to see which way to turn. (Or maybe I'm just dumb...)

absolutely amazing... That is all i can say about a map this breathtaking... I truly can't believe that a map this big was even possible on foundry... let alone be so good with interlocking and also be fun to play on!

P.S why does it only have 5 downloads? did it get featured immediately???

Hey, please check out my list of all the puzzles in halo 3. link

Thanks, but I can't take credit for it. Vice, as one of our resident race fanatics, took care of this, it was all his work.

Temple Nights Large asymmetrical map, great for infection and one sided objective.

I would have killed myself before I made that smooth of a race track. I think this was definetly worthy but I didn't see it and I'm not much of a straight-forward racer.

Gratz on the feature and nice choice of the feature Pegasi/Vice

Talk about deserving of a feature! I'm so pleased that x Dream 76 x got a featured map. His tracks are truly amazing, and he deserves a ton of credit for the work he puts into all of tracks.
CONGRATS DUDE!
