Intricacy meets clear-headed design within the complex confines of Aerialis, an asymmetrical beauty that follows up its breathtaking structural forging with inventive yet concise use of weapons and spawns. True to its asymmetrical roots, Aerialis excels in objective games by making use of the symmetry options to create a map that shifts its form perfectly every time you load up a new gametype. Weapons follow suit, most notably the Sniper Rifle, Bubble Shield and Power Drain, each changing their position in either symmetrical or asymmetrical gametypes.

When strolling amongst the towering walls, pillared frontages and creative surrounding structures, don't be fooled for one second into thinking that solid competitive play is forced to take a backseat. Routes across the map are balanced and varied, mostly culminating inside, around or above the centre piece of the Bunker. Guaranteed to bring consistently enjoyable games, spiced well with their fair share of epic moments to entertain the masses, Aerialis is a must for your download queue.

This map is amazing. I love the design and layout. The geomerging and interlocking must have taken days. Great job on the aesthetics. For gameplay I can't comment because I haven't played this map yet, but I am sure that it is just as good.

This map looks very well put together...
The area that has the geomerged bridges as a ramp, looks strange, since they stick out, but otherwise this looks very cool...
Im DLing the map soon, so I can see what the back area of it looks like...
right now my slots are full, so i'll have to wait till i can pick something to delete.

so one prob im seeing is that theres almost no cover inbetween bases/structures,
and that can cause for bad gameplay, or good, it goes either way....


I really think you should give weapon status, because if it has bad weaps like a laser, or a fuelrod cannon, then I really would be turned off...

I'm glad this got featured. It really deserved it. This map has some beautiful aesthetics. Me and my friends had a lot of fun fooling around playing FFA on this map a couple days ago.

this is a good map but it sucks for me because:

i am working on a really good map and my corners are like the corner in the third picture i only showed this to 3 of my friends but the map is different than mine and the corner is a litlle different but that corner is almost axactly like mine, im not going to change it because of this though, im just saying so when you see my map you dont complain

The weapons status was mentioned, admittedly only to say that the use is "inventive yet concise", but focus was given to the use of the symmetry option with regard to the Sniper Rifles and some equipment. Rest assured though, there are no weapons present on this map that could be regarded as detrimental to gameplay, no lasers, sentinel beams or fuel rods here.

Still, good to see a post which considers such things in detail, and you could be forgiven from thinking that some areas are a little sparse in gameplay terms. In practical fact though, this is largely down to the grand scale of the structural work making some areas seem a little open in comparison, when actually they would appear fine in a less imposing map. From personal experience at least, this map has no areas that are walking death, or anything even close, its balance and flow is one of its strongest points.

I just knew this would be featured since the first time I played it. I still have one of the first versions, and the gameplay is amazing. Everything is perfect and I love it all. Congrats on the feature.

sweet the map is featured. It was a really quick feature but it was worth a feature cuz of its awsomeness. Now the map itself is totally awsome with all of the amazing geo-merging, and the map design itself is so awsome that it should be featured twice.

I remember the day this map got posted, I had a feeling that it would get featured. The map is great and I played on it many times with friends, the structures are amazing and so is the interlocked merging with the bases and everything else. The spawns are perfect and so is the weapon set too.

The name is also quite original as I have'nt seen or heard a thread about it. Unbelievable map and congrats to Zombie Villain in the feature, It was well deserved. The map has an amzing design too, The center structure is original and so are the defenders/attckers base, I have'nt seen a base like it.
