Personally I think that's an insult to Furious and to those who have tested it countless times. The map is probably one of the best in the tournament, it's gameplay is amazing.
I can honestly say at first I thought it was a poor choice. Then actually got to play it and I highly enjoyed the many times I did. I am glad that this is in the tournament. It serves as a reminder to the many users at forgehub that maps need to get back to their main focus, which is gameplay. Forging is an art form, but it needs to be expressed through how players play on it. I think that many forgers out there miscontsrue that to mean that their maps must look the best and fall short so very short on how fun their maps are to play.
But you say it is a joke. Why? Give some insight into why it is so laughable to you, because honestly your opinion is only going as far as you back it up.
So I'll back up mine. I particulary play to one side of the map, the rocket side. Why? It reaps it's rewards as well as risks. I am decent with a battle rifle and so I can usually take out any opponent on my way to rockets. However if I am aware of where the other opponent is, he usually pops me in the head from sniper. Right there at the beginning it is so balanced. There needs to be strategy and you need to rely on your teammate. I also love the mancannon. It serves as a predictable, risky, but fast way of capturing the flag if your teammate is set-up properly. That is a lot of things I love about the map. There is an ebb and flow about the map like the tides of an ocean. You have to become the master of the moon, to master the map.
