Dude Lights this map really is a successor to heatwave in that it also rocks. I loved this map from its first incarnation and had been anticipating it ever since the heads up from Iv0rY on the mario pipes.
This map is soo much fun, the careful design and quality of forging are very apparent and it really changes the dynamic of Avalanche to make it its own.
Glad this map was featured in v4 as your attention to detail and constant adaptations really brought Coldfront along. I loved v1, but love v4 even more.

Sorry I didn't comment as much as I should have on the original threads, but the versions just kept coming so thick and fast. This map got better and and better and thats why it, and you, rock dude. Congrats!

You seem to have a knack for forging on non-foundry maps. When are you coming back to good old fashioned foundry, eh? I just downloaded the map now, and I hope we can get some games on it in the next few days.

I love that particular teleporter cave/cliff area of the map, and have been looking for a good one-sided map using it as a defensive base - so yeah, this pretty much rocks. The defensive sniper tower is just awesome (well, all of them for that matter). The mario pipes are pretty creative and the man cannon chute into the base is really, really cool. Well done, sir.

completely ridiculous. this map is good, but im sick of mods gettin their maps featured even though theres a bunch of maps that are way better.

How you forgot to put the oversheild in is ridiculous
Re-makes generally are maps not on halo 3
This map doesn't seem to have any point
I think the screenshots where the most thought out part

People keep saying this, but suggesting nothing.
It may be true that alot of featured maps are from respected members, but did you ever think that they are respected members because they're good at forging? This map is a great demonstration of forging for gameplay and trying to achieve a new experience on an existing map. This thing has been through 4 versions and, so I understand, a good deal of playtesting. If you try a few games on it you should see that its well designed and fun, which is an achievement on avalanche, an achievement that has been recognized here.

Also, if you look through the Featured maps section then I think you'll find a great deal of maps from non staff members, the section does well to expose lesser known maps whilst publicising those maps from more well known members, they are all featured for a reason.

I'm so glad this got featured. This is the best avalanche map I've seen so far.
