Well this is my first longshore track and it seemed, from others' opinions, that it's a great track. I pretty much was going for the best and smoothest longshore track because the ones I seen were pretty, well "bad" and they had bad flow. I just wanted to top them and I think I've succeeded. This map features big two square banks and a great route with the longshore surface. All of the track is double-wide( not like others that have single - wide areas). It provides a fast-paced style of racing is pretty easy to drive. It is compatible with battletracks and can be played with 6-12 players. Also includes an uncheatable destination. Hope you enjoy the map!!

Boat Track is a boat racing map from one side of the Longshore water to the other. The map works for both the game varients Motor Boats (where you have a mongoose on the boat) and Paddle Boats (just a person on the boat). It can be quite difficult but it is a whole new experience to Halo 3 racing.

How to play:

Starting:
First of all you need 2 people per team. You will spawn on a platform in the water behind the 4 boat sheds. The VIP is the one that can drive the mongoose that�s on the dingy and the non VIP has to get on the back.

Driving:
For the boat to float, the non VIP has to shoot it every now and then. This is because the boat only sinks if you don�t shoot or punch it. The VIP then drives the mongoose into the engine of the dinghy to make it move.

Turning:
To turn the boat just turn the mongoose like you normally would on land. Make sure it doesn�t pop out of the boat though. To help turn and keep the boat balanced the non VIP can shoot the opposite of the boat than the direction its turning. This means shoot the right side if you�re turning left. This someone makes the dinghy turn faster and will stop it tipping over.

Balancing:
Sometimes the boat will start to tip over. The non VIP can shoot the side of the boat to balance it back to normal. You might have to carefully adjust the mongoose if that�s why it�s tipping.

Restarting:
If you sink you have to wait for another boat and mongoose to spawn unless there is a spare in another shed. If there�s only a dingy and no mongoose you can use one of the spare mongooses in the back.

Scoring:
To score you have to make it to the other side of the map where there is a VIP point. 1 point wins the round unless you assassinated someone and got -1.

Rules:

-Don�t assassinate any of the other team. You will get -1 if you do.
-Don�t shoot other boats to try to tip them over.
-Don�t jump on someone else�s boat or mongoose.

If you don�t follow the rules the party leader can boot you.

How to play:

Starting:
The starting is exactly the same as with motor boats except there are no mongooses on the dinghies. Grab one of the smgs before jumping on the boat so that you have duel wield. Watch your head on the way out.

Driving:
To move the boat just shoot the engine with the smgs. This will keep the boat floating and the impact of the bullets will push it forwards. Using the smgs is the faster method but can make the boat very unbalanced. A safer but slower way is to just walk into the engine instead. Remember to punch/shoot the boat every now and then to stop it sinking though.

Turning:
To turn just shoot or walk into the side of the engine. Be careful though because it might unbalance the boat.

Balancing:
If the boat starts to tip uncontrollably just jump up before it tips over. You can still go while the boat is upside down, it�s just not as easy.

Restarting:
Just wait for a new dinghy to spawn unless there is a spare.

Scoring:
To score you have to make it to the other side of the map where there is a VIP point. 1 point wins the round unless you assassinated someone and got -1.

Your mission, to go back in time and try to prevent the Human-Covanent war from ever happening, but something has gone wrong. Hurdled millions of years into Earths past you must avoid pre-historic hazards as you attempt to make your way back to the future before you are eaten alive. . . . or after.

hello people this is my new racetrack on longshore,
it features 3 banked turns and it dips into the water.
it covers most of lonshore and is medium difficulty. took about 7 hours to make and plan.
It is entirely cheat proof and it is made for the racetracks gametype.

You start under the docks right by the water and make your way up the hill into a banked turn,
then you go into the water do another banked and then go straight until you hit the last banked
turn, after this you will take a right into the steam room through the checkpoint and onto an elevated walkway in which you will take your last right and come back to the start

Its a fun, creative, random ass racetrack on the sky bubble on sandbox.

This is my first attempt at making a race map I usually make competitive maps but I thought I would have a go at making a race map. And I know this is nothing impressive but as i said i thought i would attempt to make a race track.

How many racetracks you see now a days? tons i bet most you see are in the crypt, main level or sky bubble well i made a track that is not on any of those levels i build a track around the gaurdian on Sandbox! this map supports any number of players and any race track game type.

Back round: With no safe place to go ther great gaurdians of sandbox offered to protect rather then destroy

Description

Ambience is a moderately sized Battle Track with an added spice of stunt maps and hardcore racing. Two intersecting jumps make for epic collisions, snipes, and close calls while two obstacles on a straightaway make for useful cover. Games usually last around 10 minutes with 32 second lap times. The map requires use of the Battle Snipes gametype so that mongooses going over the jump aren't taken out of the air eaisily because of BR spray. Tensions get high as the layout and design of the map provide for neck-to-neck games.

Weapons:
Plasma Rifle x 1 - Not placed at start - 45 seconds
Plasma Grenade x 1 - Not placed at start - 180 seconds
Beam Rifle x 1 - Not placed at start - 150 seconds
Incendiary Grenades x 2 - Not placed at start - 60 seconds
Trip Mine x 1 - Not placed at start - 180 seconds

The trip mine and plasma grenades are the two most valuable assets, and if used correctly, they can be used to turn a game around at the last second.

Viper is my first try at a racetrack ever. It starts off at the top of the large dune on on the base level of Sandbox, and ends by dropping you off outside the regular boundries. The guardians on the map have been blocked off and the crypt hole has been plugged with a cross(I'm a Christian-deal with it). There are 8 mongeese and set up for 16 people. There are two main U-turns on the map, one at the first part and one after the wood bridge. There is a large banked turn that crosses over most of the map at the end. You must climb up the dune to rejoin the track to start a new lap once you cross the finish line(just follow the lights). I wanted to make a spot where it was a little more free-form than the usual "roller coaster style maps" You really need to look at the pictures to fully understand what exactly it looks like.
