The map itself is a triangle with two bases at the base angles of it.This map has the game varients slayer, king of the hill, assault, and odd ball. For wepons, there isn't alot because i ran out of money, i thought i had the unlimited money glitch.... guess not but there are 2 BRs, 2Carbines, Rockets, Sniper, Shotgun, Needler, And an overshield. It sounds like alot but they all have 0 clips and a long respawn time so their not too overpowered. I hope ya'll enjoy.<br />

<font size="3">Precaution is a symmetrical map designed for 2-10 players with vehicular carnage in mind. It is split down the center with identical bases on each side and contains several power weapons and a plethora of vehicles for each team.</font><br />

<font size="3">Its mostly open exteriors are complimented by several smaller and more enclosed spaces, offering a nice mix of both short and long range battles. We mostly play Slayer on Precaution, but CTF and most any other symmetrical objective game can be fun.</font><br />

<b><u>Description</u></b><br />
<br />
This is it... Illucent... my final Halo 3 map. This map has been in production for many months now, going through vigorous testing multiple times after it was completed. The ending product is what you see here today: a large, asymmetric skybubble map, ready to comfortably play games of 4v4. From the Guardian-esque lift, the central funnel, and the spiral staircase, I believe Illucent is my best map to date... a fitting farewell to Halo 3's Forge from me.<br />

<font size="3"><b><i>Paramount</i></b> is a symmetrical Structure Map that I have made on the main level of Sandbox. It plays best for Team Slayer and CTF Gametypes but I have set it up for all other modes. The way I have been trying to make maps lately is to have almost every area of the map traversable with very few unreachable areas. </font><br />
 <br />
<font size="3">The huge Central Tower is scalable from every side. Four floating Grav Lifts will also get you to the top level of the Tower with an easy jump. Two Lifts lead up through the center of the Tower the other two are above the Choppers. I also wanted to have room under the Central Tower to allow vehicles to flow around the map.</font><br />
 <br />
<font size="3">The vehicle count has come under scrutiny, but I think from the play testing, that all vehicles have their role to play. The Power Drainers are inside the lower level of each base, making driving any vehicle a gamble, as spawning enemies could toss it at you and your run is over. Instead of Choppers there used to be Ghosts in their place, but the Ghosts were too easy to control on the map and people were racking up kills left and right(FFA). The Choppers are also a good counter to the Warthogs in Team games, where as the Ghost is really no match for the Warthog. The Mongeese are there for a quick trip to the far base or to provide transport for the Attackers as they can grab the flag and carry it out the backside of the base for a sneaky get away. </font><br />

<font size="3"><b><i>Relent</i></b> is an Arena-style symmetrical map that lends itself well to Competitive Team &amp; FFA Slayer gametypes, however I have set the map up to support all other modes. </font><br />
 <br />
<font size="3">Originally I had thought of making this map MLG only, but the friends that I play with prefer a bit more weapon variety. The lines of sight on this map are set up really well, if I say so myself, which split the map up allowing for several battles to take place at once. There are alot of levels on this map that allow you to make quick escapes if you are getting shot at, also well timed jumps will give you an advantage if you know you can make it. The two Shield Doors that are below either end of the Bridge do not quite reach the ground(purposely), so a well placed grenade can be thrown underneath to kill your opponent who may think he is safe by walking through the Shield Door. This also helps to avoid standoffs.</font><br />

<font size="3">I took inspiration for this map from Midship and one of my first attempted maps on Foundry.</font><br />
 <br />
<font size="3">With so few days left, until Reach comes out, I wanted to share with the community the last couple remaining Halo 3 maps I have been tweaking and tuning for a very long time.</font><br />

<font size="3">I will most certainly be recreating this map again in Forge World.</font><br />

It hold up to ten players, and plays CTF and Slayer.<br />
This map is self-explanatory. Its wide open on the sides of the map and CQB in the crater in the middle. This map is action packed.<br />
It might not be the best forge show-off, but its tons of fun for competitive gametype lovers :)<br />

<blockquote><blockquote>Desistance got part of its design from Orbital. It started with 2 main paths. It would be very much like 2 L’s, where one was upside down. If you are musically inclined and have ever read sheet music, it would be similar to the symbol for a natural note. One of the pathways would be on the ground, while the other would be one floor up, and they would connect at 3 places, one of them being the bases. As time progressed and the map was being forged for the first time, I found it necessary to add a 3 path. That path is the tunnels that everyone loves so much. Then with a few more changed, like swithing wedge larges to wedge huges to decrease the angle of some ramps, and the removal of the roof, to make an open ceiling map, the majority of Desistance was done. However, once again gameplay wasn’t perfect, and we changed the center piece to allow for more balanced gameplay. Everything, from the height of a railing, to timing of grenades, to the angling of spawn points has been designed and tested to perfection, so I hope you enjoy it. There are 2 balconies for each base; one acts as a high ground for attacking the main hill and the other being support platform for the next hills. Maybe an 8th? I don't know. 2-6 people. Other gametypes may also be supported next time I edit it. This is my first post on Forge Hub, but not my first map. Though this is my first FFA map. I do not have any strong feelings towards merging so please do not give responses like: &quot;This map needs more merging.&quot; or &quot;Not much merging here.&quot; <br />

Update: Setinel Beam no longer in map. Replaced by Needler. Needler original placement has an additional SMG instead.<br />

Your team and an enemy team has been airlifted into box, on a Brute planet. Your slowly going insane, so you have three choices. One choice is you make make-shift flags and you play CTF <b>or</b> you play King of the Hill, <b>OR</b> you make a bomb and blow up the other team because your insane.<br />

I posted Version 1.0 yesterday and people have been telling me to make it better. I hope this is better. Things that have changed is that I have taken away alot of games, but the map is playable on every default gametype. The Blue base has grown and is better Forged than the Red base. The hallway and warthog have been replaced with a small tower. I moved the Shotgun from the two Columns to the Red Base bridge. I have taken away all spawn points from the bridge and placed them on the Blue base. And I have taken away alot of the power weapons, and placed a bunch of BR's and Carbines. I would have placed more on the map, but I ran out of money.<br />

There are two bases, Red base and Blue base.  The Blue base is smaller but it has a short hall with a warthog inside. The red base is a level higher and has a bridge that leads from the hidden hall to the right walkway (or vice versa). I have worked hard on this map, and I'm proud to present it to you here!<br />

Toget in the towers you have to find the turret entrance. There's only one that is kinda hard to find.</font></font><br />
