I've never planned on going to college for 3 reasons

1. There is no money saved up that I know of. Im sure there is some money (or maybe alot), all i know for sure is that my Parents have not told me themselves of any sort of college funds. (and for the sake of advice just assume there is no money what so ever)

2. I've never been able to decide on any specific area i want to get into, or even where im gonna live after high school.

3. I've never taken high school very seriously. I havent ever failed a grade or even a class for that matter. however that doesnt mean ive done my best.

Things of interest
1. My GPA i beleive is at the very least 2.7 but im not sure exactly what at the moment.
2. I got a 25 on the ACT the first time I took it. Im going to take it again this year.
3. I enjoy music and Comuters/gaming etc. Just something to keep in mind for college suggestions

Other things of interest
1. I do currently have a part time job at Kmart and im fairly certain that after high school they would be more then happy to start working me full time.
2. My Real mom is currently living in Ireland. We get along pretty well and she would love for me to go stay with her since my split custody hasnt allowed for much time together.

My current Plans
1. Get a full time Job working at Kmart after high school, and get a apartment or start living with a roomate etc. This would be a great opprotunity fo me to learn how to live on my own and just figure out what the real world is like, college is always an option later on but giving the current economy I personally have several friends who went to college for 2-4 years and are still unemployed.

2. or........Stay with my mom for a couple years or just near her. She is someone i could always fallback on if stuff didn't workout. however..........moving out of the country seems a little risky. I would have to deal with passports and citesinship stuff (shows just how much i know lol) etc.I dont know the laws over there, and my mom isnt to law abiding either, i dont even think that she is legally supposed to still be over there because of like expired passport or something, i dont know lol.


#1 is obviously my first plan however i am willing to take any suggestions, comments etc.

PS: It would really help me if you are currently in the same situation or maybe were when you were younger.

Plz any comments are welcome as long as they are plausible solutions or options. plz dont be stupid because you can still earn infactions for spam and unrelated posts

Just so you know, i currently have:

1 ghz AMD (sempron, i think, not good with names)
>1Gig RAM
Not sure about the motherboard or graphics card.

Now, Im not sure whether to buy a whole new PC with Hard Drives etc., or just buy the parts and replace my old ones. Im looking for a dual core, 2ghz processor (AMD preferably), 2GB of RAM and a decent Graphics card to go with. Also, a motherboard with capability for more RAM slots, if possible.

Price range is around £200 - £250, i might be able to stretch.

So, what would be best? Get a whole new Rig, or just buy the parts in. (Keep in mind, AMD and PCI express slots would be best).

I dropped my iPod touch 3g, it's totally fucked up(hardcore cracked). So I try to restore it, since it's jailbroken and I'm hoping Apple could be nice and replace it, but for some reason I messed up and now when I try and turn it on it comes up with the Apple logo and then after a minute or two it pops up with the spinny wheel in front of the logo with the colored lines at the top. I've tried everything to turn it on and it isn't even recognized when I plug it in. It's pretty much impossible for me to get past the logo. So, my question is, will the Apple Geniuses figure out that my iPod is jailbroken? Me dropping it will be my excuse for it not turning on.
