			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div><div align="center">Foreshadow is my newest Sandbox map, this time taking place on the main level. It's going to hold games of 4v4 to hopefully 8v8. It features four large archways looming above the map and many structures underneath them.<br />
<br />
As of now, there are 2 snipers, 2 warthogs, 2 choppers, 2 ghosts, 2 mongooses, 2 hammers, 4 brute shots, 2 rocket launchers, 2 missile pods, 1 laser, and an overshield. There'll be some BR's and other more minor weapons throughout the map as well.<br />

When searching for the skull when the maps originally came out, I got very very distracted with the section hovering just above the waterlevel underneath where you actually find the skull.. It has 2 mesh platforms linked with an overpassing bridge.. Sadly, this is blocked by an invisible wall..<br />
<br />
<br />
I was wondering, would anyone be willing to make it possible to get in and out this walled off section for me? I'm terrible at landing teleporters on surfaces like that and making it actually possible to be outside that section. <br />
<br />
I just really hope to god its not a deathbarrier, if its possible to get passed that wall and walk around, i have an amazing idea for a map :)<br />
<br />
If anyones interested.. message me on xbl - Steve 11thSelby.. or construct the teleporters and let me know if its possible to walk about behind the barrier.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Lately I've been working on a map on Longshore. It feels really refreshing to create something on a map other than sandbox.<br />

Anyway to the map. I'm probably 30% of the way through and just wondering if you guys have any ideas you would like to pitch in?<br />
The map uses about half of Longshore. The parts exluded include the bridge, red tower, dock area and blue spawn area that is part of the docks. Because the map is medium in size it would be suitable for 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4. Anymore I doubt would work.<br />
Also when I've finished it I would like about 7 people to help me test it out. Just PM me if you want to.<br />

-This map is asymmetrically built but plays symmetrical.<br />
-Ghosts too overpowering on small map? (the maps not done yet though)<br />
-I'm trying to include some really nifty jumps in the map. I already have the bridge control room to walkway jump and a jump inside the central building.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Alright, this should be my most ambitious project as of yet. I have decided to attempt to make a good competitive map <u>without the use of merging of any kind.</u> When I started forging, interlocking and geomerging had long been in existence. So I've never made a map that didn't make use of those techniques. Now, with the emergence of ghost merging, I feel that forging is almost too easy. I want to know what it was like to make a map before these glitches were discovered, so that I can appreciate Forge in its purest form. <br />
<br />
Furthermore, I think that new forgers today have it too good with ghost merging. Hypothetically, I'd like to make a rule that you must first make a complete map without the use of any merging, then make another map that makes use of interlocking (and geomerging if you <i>really</i> want to). Only after those two maps are you allowed to use ghost merging. It's like in any math class; the instructor will make you do something the long, difficult, pain-in-the-ass way first, then he'll give you the formula that you can use on the test.<br />
<br />
Now, on to the map. I'm thinking of a sandbox main level map with a standard 2 base premise. Maybe some side bases. I love making ramps and walkways, so I'll include some of that. I think I'll mostly just improvise and see what I can come up with. Wish me luck.</div>

Also my ODST Multiplayer Map pack contains 2 Maps, Alpha Site and Rooftops. Both are Nearly done. I smell Christmas. I know everyone thinks oh ya its released at christmas. Well yes. However, 8 Lucky People on forgehub could easly get the V.I.P Treatment. Includes, Alpha Site, Rooftops, Asset Map and Much more! Oh and yes, Im already building my own Asset Map. Thanks for the Advice Rifte Gifle. By that I mean the awesome sauce that Asset has. I always wanted to building something like that. But anyway, I got L4D 2 and Modern <b>W</b>arfare 2. So I might get some more Ideas. But Why am I making 10 maps at once. I like making Map Packs, Thats why. Well anyway I'll update in December. <br />

Ok so those are the pics that i have for right now, i will more than likley either release this much later today or tomorrow sometime depending on how many more testing games i can get in. So now for the basic story you and your team are escorting virgil up the elevator when the covenent attack and destroy the hornet and also blow up the subway tracks and now you must wait for virgil to hack into the security system and open up the door till you can escape you must protect him at all costs. like i said basic, its just to explain what this is based on. ok now for the things that need explaining. The ramp that was shown early leds up to a small room that contains the exit which is blocked my 2 damaged stone colomns which at 3 mins a man cannon spawns to push them out of the way where you can reach the hornet and fly to the destionation point. another thing your prolly thinking is that this is a small map. well all in all it is but when you play it it kinda feels much bigger and also its a hold of map anyways so i didnt want anything to massive like my upcoming map for asset is but i cant say much bout that :O but onto the elevator. the defenders spawn in the elevator and go up 2 levels by grav lifts and when they reach the top the 1st two grav lifts are destroyed making it feel like the elevator drops a little, then after another sec or so the other grav lifts get destroyed and the rest of the elevator crashes ( i have walls and stuff that spawn at 10 secs to make it look and feel like a real elevator) then you must climb out of the elevator and go into the map and hold off for 3 mins. Now for the part that will prolly make most people say o this map sucks! (even though it doesnt and ill explain why after i tell you this) is that virgil can escape the subway station! thats right i said that he can! this is for a few reasons, number 1 is that i wanted virgil to have the feeling of being virgil, having the ability to float and get to places that others couldnt, now if virgil trys leaving the map completley hes going to get destroyed in a few secs anyways, also because i tested this a few times and when virgil was being attacked he had nowhere to go and it was a lil to easy so this way it makes it a lil harder for the covenent to kill him and all and all i dont have enough objects to fully enclose it anyways but gameplay was much better when he was able to move about more. <br />

So for those of you that read all of that thank you and sorry if i bored you much, i tried getting in a bunch of details and for those who just looked at the pics also thank you for at least taking a look so please let me know what you think about this before i release this. Is there anything youd like me to change or swap with something else anything is welcomed good or bad but if its bad please at least tell me how you think i could make it better. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Yesterday I had a go on Longshore and started making an Asset map. After a while I realized this just wasn't my style of map making so I quit and deleted the map.<br />

Before I started I had developed a storyline for the map, but since I'm never to going to make an asset map (or anything similar) I thought this story would be pretty useless for me, so here it is.<br />
<br />
<b>The storyline:</b><br />
&quot;Oh no, Virgil has been taken from point A to point B so many times he's grown a bit of an appetite, and for some reason he feels like some fish tacos. Better drop in and pick up some taco's for Virgil otherwise he is NOT going to be a very happy engineer.&quot;<br />
<br />
I had a name idea as well but I am now using that for a new map I'm making.<br />
<br />
If you do decide to use this storyline just mention me somewhere when you post the map. Please.<br />

EDIT: I just realized I still have the map so if you want to see what I've done send me a friend request and I'll show you the map. You can then download it from your recent games if you like it. Trust me though, what I did on the map wasn't very interesting.</div>
