Map Previews

Currently map previews are being posted under Forge Discussion and it is related to Forge, but I would like a separate place to post map previews. Everyday there are about 5 new previews posted and it bumps threads down and takes up some room. This makes Forge Discussion threads really only last a day when they could last much longer. I get why everybody posts map previews, I even do them myself, but I think it would be a lot neater and convenient if there was a separate section. Maybe under Forge Maps titled: Map Previews?

I'd never thought of it that way. Maybe a sub-category under Forge Discussion, though perhaps. It is hard to see many of the other discussion threads with quite a few Map Previews.

I don't care personally about the bumping down issue, but others may. It'll just look a tad neater in my opinion.

I'm up for this.

When the prefix map preview was originally introduced, The suggestion was to add an entire subforum. However, a prefix was decided to be better.

I'm a little bit for this as well. The people who like to discuss their preview threads and update them regularly get them bumped down a lot by other threads and the occasional pointless question. It also works the other way around. Peoples legitimate questions and discussions get bumped down by the wave of preview threads that get posted regularly. It's a little frustrating for both sides. It also doesn't help that there's about ten stickies on page one of Forge Discussion either, in my opinion.

EDIT:

Well, there's starting to be a lot more previews each week, so expanding it from a prefix to a sub-forum sounds good to me.

It could be formatted the way the Maps section is. Mini-games, Competitive, Casual, and Racetracks.

Seconded...

I really like the idea as a whole and I think it should be a sub-forum of Forge Discussion.

Thirded.

Also, this could also help people in making maps better by seeking critique of an unfinished product. It could even promote more of a discussion in each preview thread instead of just 'wow cool releases soon' etc.

Maybe the adoption sub-forum could eventually be added too.

Now that I'm considering it, there are a bunch of previews.
