Permission issues and stuff with blogs

OK, three things.
First off You cant delete your own blogs, i don't know if you guys did this on purpose but you cant delete your blog drafts, i have a draft which i dont want to have and it gives the permission error message when i try to delete it.

Secondly, when you post an image in your blog it wont automaticly resize.
Example

but it wont resize if posted in a blog

and thirdly you cannot view attachments in the map database

you guys should fix this, does this occur to anyone else?

EDIT: ok the picture is actually 1600*800 pixels, thats a fail on my part, because the image hosting site resizes it to 1600*800, but you get the idea

You're not supposed to view attachments, and you can't post em either I believe.

Correct, we have removed the attachment functionality from the map database while we rework the whole section.

Moving on, registered users have permissions to delete blog entries, as do warned users.

Finally, the image resizer we use does not support blogs, so until the modification is updated to include them, this issue will remain. It's worth noting that in either case, you still load the original image so bandwidth and page load is the same. With blogs, it is the authors responsibility to post readable entries that attract readers, so if they do not resize their images in advance, that is their failing. However, I do agree it would be a nice functionality to have, and I will look out for it in future.
