Question Thread Notifications

I know that there is an option to subscribe to a thread, but it will only give me the option to receive notifications via email. Is there a way to get these notifications the same way you get a notification when you get a new message/friend request?

That's not possible. The only place you would get a notification if you didn't choose Email, would be the Subscribed Threads area in your User CP, which should be quite easy to see.

Yeah, what Bloo said, as long as you are subscribed, it doesn't matter whether or not you wish for it to send you email notifications, new posts and the such will appear in your User CP under your subscribed threads section.

IMO it would be better as a notification thats not in UserCP, but no is the answer

It would require a mod to the forum, and for every style that we have...
7 Styles + Edits = Load of Work for Lion/a Yellow.

But you might as well try... I don't see it happening though because thread notifications for some people are set so that you get notifications from after you post. I have over 805 threads I've replied to, that at any time could come back alive and give me constant notifications at the top of my screen.

That's why there would probably be setting where you can turn the notifications off.
