Auto read receipt

I don't think this is possible for a normal momber to do, but can the default be when sending messages to have read receipt on? I forget sometime and I like to know if someone has read something I have sent them, but I had forgot to change it. Just a very small change.

Thanks,
Aaronator

Most people don't care about read receipt. Therefore, the default should remain what it is. Maybe add something in the settings that allows individual members to set a read receipt as default for when they send messages instead.

Well, if they don't really care about it, then if you add it, it shouldn't even bother them. It's like this, having the area for a signature doesn't mean you have to use it.

And as you said, I just want a way to keep read receipt on so I don't forget.

There is a mod that gives you thie option to set default read receipts, however it isn't compatible with the latest version of vbulletin, so unfortunately this can't be implemented until then.
