Reward for Reporting?
i think there should be some sort of motivation to report posts, like having ranks to incourage people to post, i think adding 1 post to your count is good? discuss?

It's not really needed. Reporting posts is just something you can do to help the keep the forums clean. Adding to your post count wouldn't make sense because you're not posting. :)

Agreed, i think of it as being a contribution back to the site. After all, its funded and shit. We dont have to worry about it :]

... Even though barely anyone uses the report button, lol.

Heh. I beg to differ. You should see how many reports we get a day. I believe reported posts are the second biggest board, second to Off Topic and the PPC.

Yeah, it's definitely used. There was 12 reported posts today with a total of 747 pages all time.

All members of the site who use the report button are definitely helping out due to the fact that not every staff member can see every post made. In which a member reports it, a staff member will then know about it and can deal with it accordingly.

To be frank, this won't be happening. If you don't wanna report posts, thats fine. If you do, its greatly appreciated.
