1. The rules are correct.
2. The site uploader has restrictions to prevent massive uploads to the site server. Bitmaps are larger in filesize than jpegs of a given size. This upload service is provided free of charge.
3. Nowhere in the rules does it state you are required to use the site uploader to add an image to your signature.

To summarise, you did not read the rules properly, you did not think about the problem before you posted here, and you wasted multiple members time requiring them to respond and explain the obvious to you. Please do better in future for the sake of our sanity.

Read the entire thread before posting. This issue has been mentioned numerous times before in the forum, and once before in this thread.

The link would take too long and too much effort to fix. Just go through a different link and then click it.

To fix this minor onconvenience the site would probably have to be taken down for a day or two.

I managed to find the necessary fix just now. Took a while, and some research, but I'm pretty sure I squashed it. :)

EDIT: Nope... more problems, but I'm working on it...

Oh, sorry about that. I noticed the problem and just wanted to report it. I guess I thought it would have been dealt with if someone posted it previously.

It wasn't something we could fix before as the webdevs were too busy to deal with minor issues, but recently I've become more familiar with the ins and outs of the back end of things and, luckily, it turns out not to be terribly difficult to put right.

Let me know if you find a skin/page combination that still throws you a 404.

the V bulletin says to view the images i have to enter a fake link, or as it suggests if i click on the link it opens a page on my ie. sayin error 404 page could not be found , i would really like to see these images is this an error with the link or is it me? please pm regards chris

Haha, you seem to have misread.

The images you seek are the '404' ones which appear in that link. If you refresh that page you'll eventually see all 5.

This is weird and i don't think its meant to happen.



The weird bars where the Official Hub Activity appear don't look like they should be there. they seem to be blocking the background.

Edit: Sorry about bad resizing.

Edit2: This only happens on Chrome it appears. It's a minor issue, though.
