I know alot of people have issues posting there map i was one of them. so i did some research and found out how. So i have known how to for a while and after seeing many bad posts i decided to share how to post!

Lets go over posting rules. Your map needs a title. There must be a desricption. Etleast one imbeded picture, and a download link. This link must lead to a thread on bungie witch i will go over in this post.

First were gonna start with the picture stuff. Ok, start up Halo 3. Go into a slayer match on your map (so you dont see the spawn places) and go hide in a corner or something. Then end it and go take your pics. I would reccomend action pics too. Now go to on bungie.net and then your service record. Then go to Hi-res screen shots. Now click a picture and then the screen shot viewer will pop up. There a little plus sign in the corner, click on that. Now save it to the apropriate place (do this for all the maps pictures). Now go to photobucket.com. make an account and then upload your pics.

Now open up a new window or tab and go to forge hub. then go to the communitie maps section and pick the sectin your map fits best. Now on the top and bottom it should say new thread, click that. Now put a title and your description. now go back to your photobucket ablum underneath the pictures there are four bars. The bottom one is the one you need so copy all that text crap in it and paste it in the box you were typing your description in the order you want them.

now go to your file share on bungie.net. Make sure you have an acount or are singned in (make one if you dont). Now next to the map on your file share it'll say discuss file or publish in fourms hit that botton an fill out the subject and description, then press submit. now copy and paste that pages url into were you were righting description an putting pics in. feel free to put any were you want. basicaly thats it but here are some extras to make it look even better and get more downloads. NOTE: do not double post just edit it using the edit button at the bottom of your post.

Extras

Making a Named hyper link (your probaly like WTF is that) dont worry its simple. Its just like having your link to download hidden behind text but instead of clicking the link you click the text for example CLICK HERE instead of yourmom.com. To do so type the text and then high light it. then click the picture of a chain and a globe something like that and then paste the link you want the text to lead in that bar. Adding a video would allow a better view of your map. Also adding action pics, a weapons list, and diagram would be good.

Nothing new, but this is a basic and good guide. I think it is good that you mention what to do and HOW to do it. I would add somewhere that you cannot double post and to edit your first one.

I will let you off for that Necro, as you're a new member ... however, in regard to your question, Poll's are no longer allowed on maps, as they were heavily abused.
