Another thing that can dictate spam people:

Complaining about a rep that is legit.

If you feel it a non-deserved rep, think it through prior to complaining.

Question to TDF:

Can offenses be made for complaining about legitimate rep?
(Meaning if person A neg reps person B for a good reason, then person A complains about it here, can they receive a "rep infraction")

Great thread idea, TDF. Maybe this will stop all of the whiny rep threads we've had in the past. However, how exactly will you determine whether rep is justified or not? Especially negative rep.

I think there should be some guidelines on what is rep abuse, otherwise people will just whine about every time they get neg rep.

A couple suggestions if the schlep system gets out of hand again...

1) Put an upper limit on rep power. Unlimited power seems to be seducing many to the dark side. A reasonable upper limit would take away the payoff for boosting.

2) Hide the multiple bars. Only show one bar. Red for bad, gray for noob, and green for good. Keep the cool tooltips, though. This might further reduce the payoff for boosting.

I agree with wetbeaver about the multiple bars, it would be easier just to keep one bar, and the top people can still see where they stand from the members list.

My reps been abused 2 or 3 times for no reason.

The first time it happened was when i commented on Blaze814's map "Martyrdom" i expressed my opinion and what do i get? I get Neg repped with a comment saying "DONT SPAM!!!". Sure thats abuse of rep right? Ive got 2 or 3 others but thats probably the worst ive had , can you sort it out for me please?

This looks like another EPIC map you've made Blaze, I love it how youve geo-merged everything and effecively used the back corridor while making it look awesome.

In my opinion this is definitely a DL and ill give you some +rep for releasing it early instead of your 1000th post =D, Just make sure you check out my map soon thats just around the corner :)
