metro, theres a plugin for firefox, called chatzilla, and its a GREAT irc client. So not only would you have GREAT irc client, but you would also be using a GREAT browser, and not some pos IE.

I grew up with IE. I tried Firefox. Just not a big fan. Deal with it! :D

I suggest you use Colloquy with Firefox.
