i think ive seen stated somewhere else in a thread that if there are network and connection difficulties you are to try your best to get one full length match in so there is a definite winner & loser. if they continue to lag out and you just cant seem to get a full legit match in with your opponent because of them lagging out or something similar i think you are the winner and they are dq'ed for playing on dial up lol

if you lag out, you will most likely be disqualified and lose. This prevents people who get off to a bad start then "lag" (read: quit) out of a match so they can have a do-over.

its your responsibility to make sure your connection is optimal prior to the match

Remember that old ass Internet where if someone called and someone was on the internet, the person who was on the phone would kick the person off the internet when he answered the call? That's Dial-Up. REALLY Slow Internet.

I MEAN SUPERRR SLOW!

Not to mention you and your opponent will have the Test Round for Connection so you will probably find your problem there, and if you still can't connect after changing hosts then you find a different opponent for the 1 v 1 Conflict.

Thanks to KB for making the sig.

no. you don't find a different opponent. matches are set, and wont be changed. dont give false information.

What if you really do lag out though? What if you're winning 10-2 and you actually lag out, not "lag out"? My Internet gets disconnected randomly on me every once and awhile and I think that would be pretty unfair for me to loose (even if I was already loosing score-wise) from my connection going out.

unfortunately theres really no way of us being able to tell whether you quit or lagged out. if youre winning by a large margin and quit, there may be an exception and a rematch may be a possibility. But in most cases it will be a DQ
