Map Overview:

Silex is a symmetrical map. It is playable with either team or free-for-all gametypes. The map consists of three main elements. The Bases, the bridge, and the Needler path.
The Bases:

Each base has two floors. The bottom floor has four entrances, however, the top only has one. The top is only accessible by using the man cannon located at the back of each base.

The Bridge:

The bridge is a very useful sniper position. It also houses an overshield after 120 seconds. If you control the bridge, you can see most of the map and be able to get a good shot off at your enemies. Keep in mind, though, that
they can see
you too.

The Needler Path:

The needler path is a crucial point in the map. It houses the second way up to the bridge and gives quick acess to your opponent's base. It also holds a weapon that is surprisingly powerful in this map, the needler. If you control the needler path, you have a well covered quick route from one base to the other, but watch out, the other team will be thinking the same thing...

The other areas of the map:

The only part of the map that isn't considered a key point is the rocket spawn/foot structure. In the top corner of the map, there is a structure that features ramps leading up to a raised platform that is the main entrance on to the bridge. Below this platform is the Rocket Spawn.

The foot structure is below the bridge. It leads to the Sword Spawn path.

And last but certainly not least, the Center Structure which houses sticky grenades and a power drain.
